  • In this video I do a demo of 5 mini stand on skid steers:
    Case TL100
    Ditch Witch SK900
    Kubota SCL1000
    Bobcat MT100
    Wacker Neuson SM100
I test: the lifting capabilities with new and old soil, driving capabilities over rough terrain, lifting of stone, and lift weight capacity of their fork lifts.

I have the MT100 wide track model. One thing about it is the track wheels are self lubing. I think they’re one of the only companies that offer them. I’ve had it for about a year and it’s been a great machine. Very easy to maintain. One thing I saw that I did like about some of the other machines that you previewed was having an external fill tank for the fuel tank. I have to lift the hood on mine to get to the gas station, which is a pain at the pump.

@51:23 One small error on the Kubota SCL1000 is that the hydraulics are pilot-operated loader and drive control valves (meaning not electric over hydraulic - this is from their website and typically Kubota is well known for this style of setup on many of their machines). I own an SCL1000 and love the T-drive handle and right joystick for loader and bucket movement. I haven't had the opportunity to try out the others. I've only seen the Bobcat in person and to me I think you're right on the assessment on it, I also think that Bobcat needs to update the operator platform/station. It just seems heavily dated.
Overall, nice review! Was nice seeing of all of the mini's together. I haven't caught any other videos with so many all being compared fairly. Would love seeing more reviews!!! 😃

Great comparison on the minis. I thought the Kubota had it until the last test where the Wacker just took over all of them and apart from that it's quite nimble. Only concern I would have is the size of the bucket; that's where I thought the Kubota had it all over the rest.
As you said they are all great machines but with discussions with your team, you need the easiest effective machine and service and parts come into play as well.
Enjoy your new toy BUT does it come in BLACK!!???? hahaha

My dad and I have looked at all sorts of mini skid loaders and ended up choosing the Kubota because of the keyless start and wide tracks. I’ve driven the bobcat and a Vermeer. Each preformed about as expected but overall I did like the smoothness of the Kubota best. The controls of the Vermeer are similar to the wacker and felt nice but unfortunately the Vermeer dealer nearby didn’t respond to any pricing requests 😂

Vermeer is probably the best but way expensive just got a quote last week for a ctx100 55k now it's 40hp but 55k is nuts. The sm100 is 34 36k . Controls are right on the vermeer and sm100 for sure.

The case and New Holland machines are the same. It looks like they brought you out a narrow track machine that is 35" wide with a 36" bucket. They have an option to go with a wide track that is 40" wide with 10" tracks and a 42" bucket.

Thanks for watching. So this machine for me has to be 38” wide and under. The reason is I need the machine to fit into people’s back yards and more specifically small places. So I think the issue would be if I got water tracks on a different machine I would not be able to fit in some of the areas I need to.

  • @brennancarter9454
    @brennancarter9454 16 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

1st off Wide Track is 100% the way to go unless you absolutely need the narrow. Which rules out the Kubota in my mind. I have lots of time on a Vermeer S925TX and I own a Bobcat MT100. Both come in wide track and they are so similar. I chose Bobcat because of local dealer presence and have grown to prefer it slightly. The Vermeer has the dual hydraulics which could be a plus for you. That is my experience, love both of these machines!!

Also was not a fan of the wackers parking break pins that slide in the sprockets, ice/ frozen material in there can cause issues just what I found when looking. As for the ditchwitch platform honestly we liked how it was open not slamming off the sides constantly, went with the sk950 ditchwitch with the weight kit and love it. Great video, i wouldnt normally sit through an hour long demo like this, but i did.
I feel like you missed some details though-- this was a great demo as an operator but also missed a lot of details as an owner, like servicability (oil filter/hydro filter lcoation and fill etc), transport tie down locations, hyrdraulic releif valves for the attachment hoses, programable parameter adjustments (as on the kubota operator interface) etc etc.
I personally own the scl1000 and feel like even though the sm100 might have performed better- theres a few details on the kubota (and possibly others) that could change the decion potentially

The kubuta, wacker, case, and ctx vermeer all have over backward balance issues, and cant drive up trailer ramps forward without front load.
