You’re the first Boss I ever see give their guys Credit like you do, it’s usually see what I put in and never give your guys to credit that they deserve
That means a lot to me. I’m proud of myself for the accomplishments I have made. However, without a team to stand with me. Many of the things I have done wouldn’t be possible. I’m grateful to have great people around me.
I’m sorry to hear that. You must have learned & seen lots in your 45 years of dedication to this trade. P.s thanks for watching, I appreciate the support.
Thank you so much! I appreciate someone who appreciates the fine details in the overall operation. We definitely have some very talented staff! Thanks for watching, hi from Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦. Happy New Year.
Amazing Job! You guys are definitely artists when it comes to paving and doing interlock. I'm sure the cost on this job was huge for the customer but it's well worth it after seeing how passionate you and your crew are in doing a fantastic job.
Thank you so much! I’m glad our passion and quality of workmanship shows well in our videos. Thank you so watching. I appreciate the support. Happy New Year
Do u know what I have been watching u for a while and I think this is one of the best if not the best job u have done with the amount of work u have done and how it looks can we have a night view with the lights on please
You guys do awesome work! I see your guys pulling string on the edges. Do you then have a third guy straighten the asphalt edge to the line with a lute?
Thank you very much! Yes we do. That’s exactly correct. We have a third and fourth guy straighten with a lute and a tamper. We try to make everything look as perfect as possible.
Not everyday i see someone that actually knows what they are doing, well done! Do you find that constantly loading trucks with the mini saves time as opposed to just loading with the skid steers? What do you find is the best way to get jobs? Lastly how did you find/hire your team? Just inherited a small company from my dad and im struggling with those last 2. Would love to hear you strategies and how you got to where you are. Im working day and night trying to get this thing out of the weeds.
Firstly thank you for the kind words & support. So, your first question. It’s technically not a mini. That’s a 10 Ton excavator. It’s definitely not huge, but it loads a Tri Axle no problem. Is it faster? Well that depends on the situation. Often we use 3 Skid Steers and the 10 Ton. But, which is fastest certainly depends on the situation/circumstances. Your other 2 question for how we find jobs and how we hire staff are challenging questions to answer here. Simply because it’s not a quick or simple answer. If you like, feel free to reach out to me on instagram and we can set up a phone call that you might find helpful. I don’t mind spending some time with you passing on some knowledge.
Thank you so much! Great question. It actually didn’t close at all. We had the front entrance accessible in 72 hours after we started construction. Thankfully, they didn’t have any calls during the entire week wile we re landscaped the front. If they did, they had a side door they were able to use if necessary. All worked out great 👍🏼 Thanks for watching

Thank you so much! Our team did an excellent job on this project. I couldn’t be more thankful & more proud. It is not our largest paving project. But, it might be in the top 5. If not definitely in our top ten. The overall project itself I’d say was one of our largest including the interlock, definitely my personal favourite project to date. Thanks for watching, I appreciate the support. Happy New Year 🤙🏻
Beautiful result on this one! A few questions: Does your company do striping? How did a commercial job this size get by without drains connected to a storm sewer? Maybe these is no storm water management infrastructure in this area?
Thank you very much. Our company currently does not do striping. We have a subcontractor who does this work for us currently. Your storm water management question is great. The answer is the parking area did not previously have this infrastructure installed. We shot grades and found a way to bring all the water to the town street with a slope we felt comfortable with. In an ideal world, I would have liked to have installed drains and do a separate grading plan. However it wasn’t with in the budget & scope of work. Definitely a great idea. Thanks for watching! Hope you enjoyed. Happy New Year.
Fair question, however I do not discuss finances on TH-cam. Just my personal preference. If you live in the Ottawa area and would like a quote on your project, I’d be happy to come and take a look at it for you. If you’re not within this area and you’d like to get a ballpark estimate on the project similar to this scale, I’m not able to help you. However, I would recommend getting quotes from a few companies in your area that come highly recommended for this type of work. Do your homework, and my recommendation is go with whoever has the best reputation & is known for high quality workmanship. Thanks for watching
I tried to watch the first video, 30 minutes after it dropped, it was set at private video, guess they fixed the problem and redropped the video🤷♂️🤷♂️

Awesome video! Did the funeral home shut down business for almost 3 weeks or did they continue services with alternative parking for mourners?
