Sombron's just a huge joke tho. Of all the FE i've played (not so many but still), he's the worst so far 😂 Lumera is way better in all ways : charismatic, classy, her OST's 🍆, and there's a little pain fighting her. Where Sombron... 😑

Even with some of the other FEs, while they didn't exactly have any good reason for existing other than to wreak destruction upon humankind or were just generic, actually had some buildup (unless you're the FE7 Fire Dragon, that was lazy writing and we all know it).
But with Sombron it just honestly feels like, "Ok, do your worst, evil elf dragon.
Lumera is the last quarter of a marathon, Sombron is the victory lap.
i really enjoyed alear's growth in the story, chapter 25 was one of many great moments for them. having like 6 unique songs for it and that map experience really makes it standout
Chapter 25 really showed the culmination of their growth. Even facing their corrupted mother, they stood strong for their friends and for Elyos as a whole
Alear's growth was funny in a way because its fairly slow paced and then all of a sudden from like chapter 21 onwards its just so much development and growth at once and Alear just becomes such a great character
As soon as goddess of shadow (frenzy) starts all I can think of is Lumeras evil laugh as you miss an attack on her
We must prevail, to free Elyos of the Dragon's corruption, too bad Alear is a dragon as well ;_;

Absolutely. Engage finally topped Radiant Dawn for me.

@@Michael-jp8irMmm. Hasn't topped Radiant Dawn. I don't give it that much credit. But it's definitely top 5 for me, and I've played every FE game including the Warriros games from FE6 onwards.

this was the hardest map in Normal difficulty imo. I'm replaying the game in Hard and listening to this every day to mentally prepare for the moment when mom will beat my dragony butt

Yeah it absolutely is terrifying, my biggest tip is to just Charge Forwards, none of the enemies in the final room move

good luck hard was my first playthrough when playing the game. idk if you know this already or not but a strat I did was warp the team on the left to the right side and then proceed forward. The enemies will not break the door that's containing them so they won't move in there just be wary that a thief does show up and will unlock that door. so, you can try to kill him with something that has long range or kill the boss before they swarm you.
I just did the map on hard, my tip is take out wurms at the end before lumera coz that entrap staff is awful, then deal with the meteor mages
I love Clanne and Lumeras dialogue on this map.

(SPOILERS below)
…the biggest disappointment to me PPO was the fact the chapter (at least on normal difficulty) didn’t have you trying to either a) survive the map as Veyle for a set amount of turns while alear and the others broke in, or b) play as alear and the rest of the army trying desperately their break in and get to Veyle in time. Instead it’s “Veyle tries to go in alone to spare her sibling the pain of killing their undead mother, only for Alear to break in five minutes later. Like…I don’t even think Veyle’s isolated and you have to find a way to get to her?
this wont work if veyle is dead by this point if she joined this map then that'd be good but like doesnt work with permadeath
i think the fact you can lose veyle as a unit makes it rough but yeah that would have been neat to see. could have been a riff on the respective maps in birthright and conquest where corrin starts off isolated from the rest of the army and you have the option to break into and assist, that would have been fun to see
yeah I agree that would've been a really cool unique feature to add to this map instead of the just insane amount of reinforcements the game throws at you. Either way its still one of the best chapters in the game imo (def the best theme), but I think this would've made it even better.

This mashup is exactly what i'm looking for, but the sound quality here is sooo awful
its a shame the encoding on this video or idfk has made the sound extremely poor quality, otherwise good idea to remix it like this
