yeah it's a risk. I've never had an issue and cannot stand doing maintenance on dirty motors. I changed the PS fluid after this in case some got in. Also try to avoid high pressure around alternators, fuse boxes, etc.
@@gregs_garage , thank you for this video , i will be more confident in cleaning the engine bay, and away with those grease . . , i was always "worried" & careful about getting water slippage into the engine thru the dipstick and avoiding up-close of the pressure washer noozle.
Funny, my 2011 CRV has 215,000 miles and gets the engine bay pressure washed twice a year. The engine runs like new and no repairs other than scheduled maintenance.
So… no taping of leads/plugs etc? I once quickly hosed my ‘98 Forester and the check-engine light was on and off for a week 🤦♂️
wow like not only power wash but for such prolonged period seems risky.
You know it.
Looks good. Wish I could do that to the inside of my daughter’s CRV ! Any electrical issues show up after this ?
no. don't spray into electrical i.e. alternator. Run afterward to heat and evaporate. Just my opinion. Your mileage may vary,
My pilot recommends no water in engine compartment

@@enzoh7763 yes that is correct. Although the oil can handle some water and it will just evaporate off anyway. no big deal.
My OCD recommends no dirt or grease in the engine compartment.
Lol finally found an idiot who's gonna destroy his engine by pressure wash it. 😆

Watering the battery?!!
who cares?
@@gregs_garagenext person your gonna sell the car to. “Everything clean” lol 🤦🏾♂️
Blooming idiocy!!
There are two nasty things in life. Dirty engines and dirty ho's. At least cleaning an engine I's do-able.
you can lead a horse to water but you can't lead a horticulture.
