      It’s such a cool feature to be able to choose if you want it run off power or battery. I sometimes plug them in for my customers so they don’t have to worry. That’s one of the reasons I like this system so much.

    I love theJBL 9.1 the only thing that would make it better is optional wireless ceiling speakers. I really wish they would do that, it isn’t even that difficult an option to make. You could incorporate speakers with ceiling can lights too so if you already have ceiling can lights no cutting or additional wiring for power would be needed. It’s a perfect addition for an Atmos setup and this JBL because the back side speakers are already a part of the bar.

      No worries 😊 Since you’ve got a Samsung TV I’d go with the Q950a as they work really well together but it also depends on your room layout and whether the flexibility of the rear speakers from the JBL suits better. Sound wise the JBL has a deeper low end but the Samsung is more refined. Hope this helps.

      Q950a is better for movies, Atmos... Sounds incredible. You really hear the atmos effect. Versus sounding slightly more like discrete surround on the jbl. Samsung bass a little underwhelming at times and music sounds worse. Jbl has good bass but also dialogue sounds muffled at times. I tried both and returned the jbl. The jbl is good too though and currently a few hundred $$ cheaper here so depends on budget as well.

    Maybe as a separate video, perhaps do a music comparison of whatever sound bars you have with a Sonos SL/One with Sub as a frame of reference. I think a fear keeping some out of the sound bar category is their performance with music.

    • @archwaytech

    • @status101-danielho6
      @status101-danielho6 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@archwaytech No, just music performance of whatever sound bar you’re testing with a known and widely available 2.1 system. I’m under the impression that sound bars don’t excel at music reproduction compared to audio separates, so it would be nice to get your impressions. There’s not much they can do about stereo separation, but perhaps some do better at high volumes, managing compression, avoiding the “showroom sound” of overly lifted treble, or subwoofer tuning.
