I don't like wearing things like that indoors on the hip. It leads me to bump into/damage things. Nor do I like that proprietary gun/hose setup. The tool I'm looking @ is quite similar with a 1.5gal hopper. It's the Graco finish pro GX19. It comes with a RAC X FFLP210, pro 2 finger spray gun with internal filter and swiveling hose attachment. 3/16" hose for greater flexibility. The pump can handle larger size spray tips. It is a little larger. But still quite portable. It offers the ability to use from a further distance and hold more material. It is designed with fine finishing in mind and delivers a top notch spray from an airless system using its linear pump design. The pump is also easily changed without tools should a failure ever occur down the road. True professional equipment! It works with all Graco's guns and lines, so you can even spend 300 for their crazy short grip pro gun if you need to get into tight spaces like inside cabinets. They make a battery option too, though it's $2,200. Basically a $1,000 upcharge for 2 batteries and a charger... Seeing as it works off 1 battery, I might be able to power the plug in off a milwaukee inverter using m18 batteries which is what I have.
Just got one yesterday and I sorayed clear coat on stained cabinets today . 30 doors and 30 drawer fronts. Amazing machine reduced waste and clean up/setup time. Payed for itself after the first 12 doors * also payed 1100 for it
@@MadLadsAnonymous I used a 310 Fflp tip. No need to thin the paint. Little machine is awesome I’ve done a few jobs with it know and u can’t beat the practicality of it on small jobs.
Check out the Graco finish pro GX19. Tooless pump replacement! Also it stated the pump longevity on Graco's site, but I forget. Seemed good, the tool is in their contractor line. It's similar in design with a hopper, though a little larger and more robust. It has a 1.5gal hopper, it can shoot a slightly larger tip size (up to .019 from the quickshots .016) so it can handle thicker material. Yet it's designed with woodshops in mind. Made to deliver tight pump pressure windows for a fine finish when spraying thin materials like stain and also be able to change colors with ease.
Is this like the ultramax that requires a new pump every 200 litres or does it last a lot longer?, I wouldn’t mind this for doing ceilings but if it’s like the ultramax then I’m better off using the full-size machine.
Great video , what is the finish like on this type of sprayer ? , I am a joiner by trade and occasionally make fitted mdf units and spray them , I currently have a qtech 5 stage turbine machine and spray waterbased Renner paint , I do get perfect flat results with no texture on what I spray but was just wondering how this would compare , it seems a really nice compact unit . Cheers
Thanks for the comment! It’s definitely dependant on setup and that plays a huge part in the finish. An airless sprayer will load it on much quicker so you’ll have to move fast but no reason why you can’t get a perfectly flat finish if used correctly 👍
The pumps in the UltraMax have recently been upgraded to the 2nd generation and we’ve seen good improvements 👍 the Quickshot has been bought out using the technology from the 2nd gen pump so we’re confident it will live up to expectations. It’s impossible to say an exact amount of litres because it’s dependant on so many variables like, pressure, tip size, product you’re spray, cleaning etc. Please feel free to give us a call to discuss your broken pump, there may be something we can do through the Graco warranty procedure regardless of where you bought it from. All we’ll need is a proof of purchase (invoice) and we should be good to go!

Looks a great little product Josh. I purchased the Ultra handheld from you a while back and I feel this could be a better option, is there a trade in option?
Good question! There will always be a place for the UltraMax but the QuickShot in my opinion is on another level. It also depends on the jobs you’re doing because you can get into areas that just wouldn’t be possible with the UltraMax. You also have so much less weight in the hand you’re spraying with making it much more comfortable to use. 👍
Hi I've just bought a Quickshot, started spraying with Diamond Satinwood and have watered down, the paint doesn't seem to be drying, can you help with this please?
No, just horizontal or vertical adjustment....the size of the tip determines the size of the fan and material amount, and the pressure setting and material viscosity determine the quality of fan pattern
Shame they don’t do their battery units as naked machines. Already have multiple chargers and batteries and don’t need to be paying for more I don’t want. Totally negates the use of the dewalt battery platform. If they had any sense they would have created a unit which used an adapter that you could use batteries from multiple manufacturers.
they are using one of the most popular if not the most popular brand of batteries and they give you 2 and a charger…and you could easily find an adapter for it and use other batteries maybe, if the voltage would jive with the machine, etc. I’ve never seen a product/tool that came with a battery port that was setup to accept multiple battery brands, have you?
Mine just keeps clogging & clogging & clogging & clogging. Changed the mesh. Changed the seal & tips - Strain paint through a pair of tights - thin it. Nothings working. Just keeps clogging.

If done correctly with the adequate paint you. An a hive factory like finish. I’d recommend a 210 or310 tip
