    On Today's Episode:
Paralyzed by self-doubt, struggling to get started, chronically procrastinating, and lacking energy for the day are all problems that point to motivation. What is that you want for yourself and the world you live in? What thoughts, good or bad, dictate your actions or lack of actions every morning?
Jim Kwik’s mission is that no brain is left behind. He’s one of the world's leading experts on how to train the brain and accelerate learning. The bestselling author of the book Limitless is the brain coach A-list celebrities and thought leaders call for help. His traumatic brain injury as a child turned into a gift for the world as he teaches how to do bigger and greater things.
In this special episode Jim reveals his 3 part formula for sustainable motivation and why motivation is a major factor in accomplishing everything you want to go after. While others insist that motivation is BS, Jim insists that it’s a major factor alongside Mindset and Methods.
    QUOTES:
“When you have a finite amount of energy and wherewithal and vitality or bandwidth, you don’t say yes to a lot of things.”
    “Genius leaves clues.”
“I’m not looking for perfection because I don’t think that standard exists, I’m just looking to make incremental progress.”
“It’s not about truth, it’s about what we decide in that moment that’s either going to empower us to move forward or make us shrink.”
“I believe that limitless isn’t about being perfect. I believe the idea of limitless is that we can progress and advance beyond what we currently believe is possible in ourselves.”
“Your mind is always eavesdropping on your self-talk.”
“Some of the most successful people live at the edge of their limits and they play there as well.”
“The truth is we’re faster and smarter than we know.”

I paid $100,000 of college tuition to essentially learn how to learn, when I could have simply watched this guy 😢😂

It's a very good idea if people get to setup some stuffs aside for themselves that could be bringing them money apart from there businesses.

Already digging deep at 4 min mark. I totally relate. I absolutely hate what I’m doing for work atm. But the feeling of purpose - the why I do it is so strong that not only am I motivated to do it everyday but sometimes I even manage to trick myself into thinking that I enjoy it by just finding small parts of it that maybe I do actually enjoy 😂. Whatever works to achieve the goal.

Thank you Tom for bringing such great information and advice from people like Jim Kwik. If we take half of what he says we cannot be anything but more accomplished at what we seek to do.

I think self sabotage is not on purpose (usually), but based on bad beliefs that are hard for people to change, because they don’t understand they can change them. Or they’ve had them for so long that I feel like part of them selves. Sometimes they’re sabotaging themselves because they think they deserve it but it’s still based on the belief

When you discussed games relating to your efforts in the real world it reminded me of "Ender's Game"
