For me the best part of this was definitely her pointing out that beating yourself up doesn't work. There's so much motivational stuff out there that talks about being hard on yourself but if you do that you just end up feeling worse. It's really important to have compassion and empathy towards yourself instead of beating yourself up.
I’m a survivor of domestic violence, and I overcame a lot of adversity and still overcoming to get to my dream. But I will show other women you can too overcome anything you set your mind with a lot of faith, work and consistency to keep showing up for yourself. If I can do it ! You can too ❤️🙏🏻✨

I love that concept of high fiving yourself in the mirror instead of looking at your insecurities. In islam we that something I wouldn't say similar but very positive that we do when standing in front of the mirror. It's a prayer that we say and I think it's solves every insecurity of body and self. It goes like this: O Allah, You have beautified my body, so do beautify my character.
I just wanna chuck my 2 cents in so I have found that the best thing that has helped me get out of bed in the morning, get off drugs, quit smoking and then improve my life the way I want it is by learning how the body and mind works and then doing something about it. These videos have been life changing and I couldn't respect it all anymore until I learn something new. 😁
I am on my way to getting an international position at my job and finishing my masters courtesy of all the rules I've borrowed from Mel. This woman is the bomb
Tom, I watch your show every day during my lunch break at work. Discovered you about 4 years and have nothing but huge respect for you. You have no idea how much your content has changed my life, how much I’ve learned and grown from it! I love Mel, thanks for having her back on the show.
Wow, I was given a similar technique by a wise teacher many years ago to say to yourself in the mirror: Hello Beautiful, I love You & what can I do for You today?! Thanx for sharing your many pearls of wisdom so far that are so simple, yet so very Empowering! 🙏
Love this video. This morning I went to walk my dog and decided to draw a bunch of hearts in the dirt. I made a video and will post on my channel. Then I hear Mel Robbins talking about hearts. That made my day!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I’ve watched a lot of Tom’s interviews but this is by far one of the greatest. The part where Mel tells the story about the painting sent chills down my spine and nearly made me 😭!
I was doing my walking exercises and when she started saying about finding the hearts ♥️ immediately commanded my brain to look for hearts and so it did there it was on the road one of the road cracks had a heart shape I took a picture for remembrance Thank you guys for inspiring so many people ❤️
The coolest thing about Mel Robbins (and what makes her one of the best influencers out there) is that she speaks from MASSIVE experience. Really, one of a kind. Pay attention to what she's saying. Tons of fuckups, doubts, everything what she's talking about can and should be lessons (and actionable behavioral patterns; I can't wait to read the book and apply it to my routine) for us and it's awesome she's willing to share. Not to mention tons of research she had to do for this book. Listen, learn, and DO. Thank You, Mel! Thank You, Tom! 🙏
For anyone reading this, I've started making it a habit to tell myself 3 things as soon as I wake up, before I go to bed, and throughout the day whenever I get a wave of self doubt, anxiety, etc. 1.) I love myself. 2.) I believe in myself & I trust myself that I am capable to giving myself everything I've ever desired. I believe in myself that I will be get myself where I am supposed to be. 3.) I accept myself fully - everything that I am, every thought that I have, every interest, every quirk, every hardship I've had, everything I've done to myself....I accept myself fully. That last thing, the acceptance, has really shifted my heart. I think so many of us want to be loved and accepted by everyone around us, but never fully stopped to give our own selves this full acceptance. Please try these 3 things, they will change you. xx
Her painting story had me in tears halfway through because I know the significance that comes from following those feelings. I love this and you guys and I'm so thankful that it's so easy to share these stories and knowledge with the WORLD. ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you❤️
Mel Robbins is amazing. this is my third time listening and it’s bringing tears to my eyes the years I’ve wasted hating myself and tearing myself down to “motivate” myself to do better (which sounds insane), but I’m so grateful for this talk. When you really analyze that statement, it is a deep philosophical claim to truth. I would argue there are lots of things that matter more than that. Is it important? Sure. But not the ONLY thing that matters in life.
I just want to thank Mel and Tom for this session. It was awesome and had me in tears on multiple occasions. Happy tears. In 2017 I was in a dark place and the first Mel Robbins interview with Tom really really helped me. Thank you both. You have shown me how to put in the work to make myself and my family better. Cheers!
Thank you Mel for responding to Tom’s question of why aren’t people obsessed with their goals. Some people truly don’t believe their goals have any weight or importance. Some of us have only been taught how to be afraid of dreaming because disappointment is more real than accomplishment in our backgrounds. But shows like yours and guess like a Mel help us understand how to get past that.
I have been trying to empower myself to keep going and pushing forward… Mel’s story at the end just brought me to tears…I really needed to see this episode. It has definitely picked me up to think and do things differently…I thank you for this.. 🙏🏽
Thank you for reaching so many. I always stop what I'm doing to hear Mel speak. And this one does not disappoint. One thing that could be defined better is the difference between jealously and envy. Jealousy is fear of losing what you already have to someone else. And envy is wanting what somebody else already has. I feel that envy is what Mel was talking about
I’m about to start my own business. I have everything done and done to a tee however I’m stalling from pure fear of putting myself out there. I have such low self esteem! This has always held me back!! I’m now 46 and it’s time I faces this fear head on. Thanks for this video!! This helped a lot .

Love the heart thing. After my mom passed away 8 years ago, I developed a heart-shaped mole on my left arm. I thought I was imagining it, but it's a perfect heart shape. Still there. See it every day.♥️
I AM TRULY INSPIRED - You speak my language and I am sharing your blessings with others every chance I get @Mel Robbins & Tom Bilyeu. Apart from the curse words. This message YOU ARE PUTTING INTO THE UNIVERSE IS A 100% GROUNDED IN REAL TIME TRUTH. I give gratitude to our creator for connecting me to you on this platform, I am forever a better me this instant than I was before I watched this video. Your book is the second in my library. The Bible takes first place.
As I listen to Mel Robbins: Patterns will repeat unless you replace them. This is temporary. I am doing the best I can. What's meant to reach you will find you. Your mind is designed to get you what you want. You just have to believe it.

I enjoy being with me- I highly recommend the high five- and writing in the mirror out of sight "I am Enough" to build those new neural pathways! Thank you Tom for making an Impact and raising the worlds consciousness- woot woot
One of the best podcast I've heard. I can only imagine how many people can change their life by digging inside their fears and wrong believes that stop them from being the best human being they could be. A thousand thanks from The Dominican Republic to Mel and Tom.
When said he doesn't understand why people aren't obsessed with their goals and ask for help, whatever it takes, I literally looked at my phone. I don't feel worthy of asking for help. Then Mel immediately went there. ❤ and 😢
Thank you Mel!!! Before every cold shower I count down from 5 and then ask myself, “Is this going to suck?” And I scream in my head lYES!!!” With as much energy as I can muster and I crank the water on. This is another nugget for my morning ritual. THANK YOU!
Thank You Both. So loved the delivery. I really needed to hear this today. I can raise my hand. Even if I can't find a reason or am stuck in a non-beneficial behavior/belief, I still exist. I Am worthy simply because I exist. I can high five to that.

The Vermont painting was exactly the story I needed to hear! I have dreams that have been my head since I was 7 years old, and here it is 25 years later and those dreams are still there like a "splinter in your mind" as Morpheus says in the Matrix. I'm going to start high-fiving myself everyday, starting today!

I love her so much. The only thing is that she's ignoring the self-esteem and values factors. We have to work on these things in order to believe in ourselves or at least take a risk. This stuff is DEEPLY ROOTED! Let's work on that. Then we can do the rest.
Wonderful interview! I’ve been a student of Louise Hay and her Mirror Work for years- I love Mel’s unique, updated perspective, passion, energy and it’s also so interesting to hear the research! Excellent 🙌🌟❤️
OMG.🔥🔥 The painting story was the icing on the cake. She always says that everything start with YOU & BELIEVE in yourself that You can have it what You want in life. High-5 Mel Robbins 💕
I needed this, I’m so tired of talking myself out of things and starting things and not finishing them bc I hold myself back. I HATE holding myself back. It’s like I want out so bad but I locked the door and I can see through the window.
Tom , you bring so much value to our world. Thank you to you and your wife and team and all the guests for everything you are sharing with us! I feel super motivated after these episodes but then find myself falling back to same old patterns, and not take action. My house is still a mess, and my tasks overwhelm me. I always procrastinate and make excuses. I know what needs to change but can’t seem to do it. With dreams, I just don’t know where to start and it scares me overall. I love all this motivational and inspirational things, but then don’t do anything about it within myself
I'm so glad I stumbled upon this. I just tried high diving myself and had a conversation with my brain and asked it do you really want to continue going on like this constantly doubting and criticizing myself? Let's work together and great each other better. I know it sounds crazy but I feel a sense of a partnership with myself for once... Like were working on the same team. Take action in spite of what you think of feel about it.

The more raw truth we come to terms with in our lives the closer we are to changing them. I decided to start a library to grow my knowledge. But I never found a book I actually wanted to read. Your book is the second in my library. The Bible takes first place.
Thank you Thank you Thank you for Mel's powerful and empowering, inspiring wisdom. 😊🙏🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤💜💜💜
As I listen to Mel Robbins:
Patterns will repeat unless you replace them.
This is temporary.
I am doing the best I can.
What's meant to reach you will find you.
Your mind is designed to get you what you want. You just have to believe it.
I love her energy,attitude,swag and She a real one☝🏾
I just high five myself and I cried
My dreams are so real I’m terrified 😬
My artwork my scarves I design … I’m like so scared…
But I hate looking at myself in the mirror
I did it… lots of life trauma but I don’t live by those
I appreciated this show !!
Thanks
High-five to all
I felt awkward giving myself a high-five and celebrating me- I actually love myself now.
Thanks Mel Robbins.
I need to start practicing the high five, and find out what happens
over time hey..........
This is probably one of my favorite talks so far. Great content, great message.
Write me up on W-h-a-t-s-a-p..
THANK YOU!
Also, I’m a dentist. It’s not cool to skip your appointment. Please let us know you plan on not showing up 😝
just love how real, authentic Mel is.
Thank You Both. So loved the delivery.
I really needed to hear this today. I can raise my hand. Even if I can't find a reason or am stuck in a non-beneficial behavior/belief, I still exist.
I Am worthy simply because I exist. I can high five to that.

This woman is so pure🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
“Did he move or not? I don’t fucking know” Classic Mel Robbins 😂
"Now that we're sitting down, I have something to tell you..." Jesus! I'm still crying!
✋
This women talks sense . Following her and Tom since 4 years . So relatable and thoughtful . Keep going Mel n Tom
This is by far my favorite channel to watch. It always guides me and helps me out of bad days. On days when I see no hope I just tune to one of his interviews and then somehow things just make sense again.
I’ve listened til this everyday for the past 4 days🤝
I LOVE HER! She is just Real.
Your first interview with Mel on the 5 second rule introduced her to me and I became a superfan.Thank you Tom and thank you Mel!
✋

such a POWERFUL INTERVIEW just LOVE Mel!!!!! Thank you!
Positive Energy...my word...my strategy + the magic of Synergy 🌎
The Vermont painting was exactly the story I needed to hear! I have dreams that have been my head since I was 7 years old, and here it is 25 years later and those dreams are still there like a "splinter in your mind" as Morpheus says in the Matrix. I'm going to start high-fiving myself everyday, starting today!
Neurochemistry makes the wheels turn,
Spirituality steers them in the optimal direction
Happiness and joy are expressed in the physical,
But emanate from the unseen within.
She has told us the absolute truth...periodt! I admire this lady!
Love her so much! So much knowledge, listening to Mel on the Rich Roll Podcast completely changed the way I see and care for myself
Absolutely adore Mel - what a blessing she is to this world ❤️❤️ thank you so much for this gold of an interview
Wish I could like this 100 times !! Mel you’re a hero !!!
I love her so much. The only thing is that she's ignoring the self-esteem and values factors. We have to work on these things in order to believe in ourselves or at least take a risk. This stuff is DEEPLY ROOTED! Let's work on that. Then we can do the rest.
Thanks Tom, thank you Mel you guys are just blessings to this world.
Wonderful interview! I’ve been a student of Louise Hay and her Mirror Work for years- I love Mel’s unique, updated perspective, passion, energy and it’s also so interesting to hear the research! Excellent 🙌🌟❤️

Just highfived myself and got the chills. Loved this episode - self love ❤️
OMG.🔥🔥
The painting story was the icing on the cake.
Wow..two of the BEST and most amazing speakers together! This video touched my mind, body and spirit! Much love to both of you !
Mel you are keeping me alive 😊
I just walked into the grocery store while listening to this. There, in front of me, were the Strawberries I saw a lot of ❤ there. Thanks Mel.
This woman has and is making a profound impact on my life.
I’ve just bought the book and look forward to reading it. Thanks for an epic interview. Huge fan of you both 🙏
Wow thank you both. She is literally aiding my breakout . Cheers to trying to breakthrough. I’m gonna come out the other side.
I LOVE Tom Bilyeu and Mel Robbins! This is SO powerful!

The first interview left me speechless, I consider it amongst the best interviews I've heard. With this one, I feel the same.
Love Mel! She’s an amazing positive light in the world. Of course Tom is the man! Love this channel
Love Mel!!! She was one of the first people I started listening to when I started my journey on loving myself and showing up for myself 🥰🥰
My 2 Favorite Guru's in the same room as each other again after way too long!!
I can't get enough of this!
Love to both of you for sharing your sleeves...
So good. Love her advice. Also lover use of vulgarity; good to see a female who is confident and strong and has her shit together.
(High five)
✋
She helped me push through the hardest part of my project and I'm forever GRATEFUL for her.
Thanks Mel!
✋
Probably shouldn’t have listened to this 5 minutes before a work meeting 😭😭🙏🏼 So impactful. Thank you Mel!!!
I just cried at the story of the painting. That is so inspiring... The power of the mind ❣ I will be looking for hearts today since I'm watching this in the morning... Oh and I paused the video to get my high five😍
I love Mel Robbins!! I love her book! I give myself high 5’s every morning now! 🙌😍
