- There’s not a whole lot that watchmaking has to throw at us that we would be surprised by these days. Tudor’s P01, for example, that was close-but it really was only a matter of time before that unusual prototype was dusted off and wheeled out. What with whole watches being made from sapphire and dials with spiders in them, it’s come to the point where we’ve seen practically everything-and that makes the secrets of the three chronographs we’ve got coming up all the more surprising.

I don't own one, but have been up close and personal with one of these and it is without doubt the most stunning watch I've had the pleasure to wear. And similarly, I'm not normally a fan of gold/rose gold.
I think the silk screen printing on the face is terrible. My Casio has more precise printing than that watch!

Anybody notice what looked like corrosion on the Roger Dubuis small seconds hand? Had a rusty or oily finish to it...not sure what's going on there.

Jimmy Can’t go wrong with those, particularly the broad arrow. As we speak I have added a second watch to my collection. Just picked up a brand new seiko cocktail time (white dial) for just 135!
Really incredible stuff, what a great selection.. the camera work, the narrator. It’s just as impeccable and impressive as the art pieces that are highlighted.
Girard Perregaux is a revelation. I didn't know the were that old or prestigious. The watch is nice too, and that price... shocking!
Richard Mille is rich man's G-shock tbh
Kamir Yeh...so shit of a watch it steals the purpose of one. You’d literally have to squint your eyes at it and keep staring for a good 5-6 seconds to realise the time.
Also let’s not forget how disgusting it looks...hugest bezel that encloses a maze with thick as fuck lines and microscopic numbers.

I have this GP in steel and white dial. Bought back in 2000. To this day I get compliments every time I wear them. Beautiful watches.
I really, really, really appreciate the attention to detail of the RM's, but I just cannot for the life of me see the appeal of them. And I'm a designer (someone who should be all over this watch because of it's outlandishness) but it just looks like something you'd give a kid as their first watch in the early 90's (that preferably dispenses sweets)
I struggle with them too. A Lange & Sohne are magnificent and beautiful but I just don't get Richard Mille. I couldn't justify spending that much on a watch anyway so I'm not their target market but I don't even aspire to own one.
I actually really like the look of RM watches, especially the 62-01, but then again I’m on a bowling team and I order my hamburgers with extra pickles so my tastes aren’t really the most refined.
I can't grow any feelings towards Royal Oak or Nautilus no matter how I try. But after I accquired Franck Muller and had a chance to try out Hublot The Spirit Of The Big Bang, RM looks more and more appealing to me. Tho I'll never get one unless I become a multimillionaire))

Not a watch person, but your presentation is first class, & now i do get why someone would be a watch person having seen a few episodes. I'm a musician & the combination of superb technical brilliance, artistry & adherence to tradition remind of the great instrument makers who end up with a large chunk of my income..
As an aside, i realise the Richard Mille is controversial, but i think it looks amazing. A rock stars watch.

Your videos just scream quality! The audio is awesome, the videos are shot on a very non-distracting background. I love how many facts and history information you include. These are honestly the highest quality videos on this site. Maybe can we get a video of just close up/magnified shots of a bunch of watches? However you guys do those shots so well is beyond me, but they are incredible.

Didn't really get the RMs at first when i saw them online, but after doing what i thought was stupid and liquidating a chunk of my collection for a white ceramic RM011, i finally get it. It just feels awesome on the wrist and 99.9% will not know what you're wearing. It is a polarizing watch and obviously i would never pay grey market pricing for it. However, the craftsmanship and attention to detail is on par (or dare i say it) surpasses even my ALS Datograph. Sometimes, you need to have the watch in your hands to really judge that it is for you.

Under the macro lens it looks like the GP dial letters and numerals are a little blurry. The RM still looks crisp under the same macro.
The JLC master chronograph looks so much like the Roger Dubuis Hommage in this video. Please do a comparison!

Could you tell me about an old watch I have found? It's a YEMA CHRONOMETRE, 17 Ruby, EB Swiss Movement, mechanical wind....It's gold in colour and has no date window. I've searched but can't find anything on this watch.

Is it me or does the finishes for the GP in the dial look kind of bad. There's white ink drips in a few places, the rose gold numbers like the 12 has a lot of dings in it
The script & numbers on the GPs dial has the quality of a calculator while Rolex is a smartphone in terms of clean looking lettering
