A Month of Grounding - Results and Thoughts After Trying Earthing for a Month

  • If you don’t already know what Grounding is, it is having your body come in direct contact with the earth. By doing this, your body is able to absorb an abundant amount of electrons which allows your body to function better!
The best and easiest way to get grounded, is to come in direct contact with the earth. So take your shoes off and go walk around outside!
I personally also used a grounding mat, so I could continue the flow of electrons while I slept. Here is the pack of two I got which also came with the book and outlet checker: amzn.to/3sbilRo
After trying a month of Grounding/ Earthing, here are a few key things I noticed were different:
    -I Slept Better
    -My Kids Slept Better
-I felt tingling in my hands and arms the first 15 mins, for the first two days. This went away I think when my body was used to the new flow of energy
-I was using the bathroom much more often

I'm 68, and have been walking barefoot on gravel, in the woods, the mossy part of my lawn etc. I'm in great health, and have only come down with a virus I think about one time in the 25 years I have been Earthing/Grounding! I highly recommend doing it daily. If you're well, or fighting a disease to regain your health, it is free! If the weather gets really bad in the winter, and I don't get out to walk barefoot in gravel for several days or more, I don't feel as healthy!

Im 69 who was suffering chronic insomnia for the past 10 years. Since getting my mat three weeks ago, Im refreshed and feeling normal, like I actually slept well after awakening . I didn't even feel any tingling. Im a happy camper! This is based on science and true physics.
Electrons are not exactly the same as electricity. Yes, you do absorbs electrons but they are negatively charged. Not positively charged like electricity is. Electrons are loosely connected to the nucleus of an atom. They can literally be rubbed off some substances and deposited on others. Because the electrons are negatively charged.

I’ve never heard of anyone describing tingling almost to the point of pain when barefoot on the earth. I woke up in the middle of the night from laying on a grounded mat with my heart fluttering to the point of pain by being connected to my apartment wall outlet that is properly grounded. From doing further research, I learned that plugging yourself into the electrical ground outlet is not a good ideal due to dirty electricity. Dirty electricity is most likely what you were feeling. If you own your own home, then bury a copper rod into the earth and ground yourself to that instead.

As to the constipation. It may not just be dr the grounding. Had a dr years ago tell us that massaging points on the foot (reflexology) would help, and it did and quickly. He said to just go walk barefoot on some pepples every day. It seemed to work very well.

Thank you! I have seen on “10 Years Younger,” video about grounding, his grounding mat looks to be all carbon fused leatherette on both sides. His grounding mat is from (www.groundology.co.uk/products). The one I have, I bought from the Earthing store on Amazon - the blue side on mine is not rubber, but feels almost like a thick foam. There are also conductive testers you can purchase to double check that your top side of the mat is indeed conductive. I hope this was helpful!

I never had a scheduled nap as a child. My whole family stayed awake all day. There were days that naps happened, but it was spontaneous and usually justified by a nighttime sleep disruption or really hard work. I feel that nap time is more for the parents than the children. If one gets enough sleep at night, he/she likely does not need a nap during the day.
My children got "put down for a nap" at my in-laws' house, but otherwise, it didn't happen.

66 M yeah mild tingling at first. Have a grounding pillowcase at my head and a mat at my feet all night. I may be sleeping a bit better after several weeks? 👍
Ok 2 months later. Ok the earth has negative ground, we seldom have contact in modern life. After 2 months I have not noticed any difference so flip a coin but I doubt there is much to this theory. A slight local effect where contact with skin may be there but it is negligible. I really see little effect after doing this for the past two months, my wife took her pillow case off, not impressed either, it sounded plausible but we noticed little if any effect.

That plug they give you to check if the outlet is grounded properly seems like a decoy/distraction.
Like if your outlet just isn’t working properly you’d have other problems to begin with.
Wouldn’t it make more sense to have a multimeter to test the outlet and in addition to that one’s own voltage and then neutralizing that value by coming in contact with the mat? Which is to say, testing the actual mat?
All that plug does is shows you the plug outlet is working and all that does is install some false sense of confidence that the mat is working.

The antioxidant claim of grounding proponents is disproven by the fact that the current has been measured at less than 1 micro amp. People who remember powers of 10 math from Highschool and the definition of a mole from 1st semester chemistry can calculate the number of electrons you get from 24 hours grounded.
One micro amp grounding current for a day provides less than 6x 10 to the 17th power electrons.
Vitamin C can act as an antioxidant and release electrons to neutralize free radicals.
Math shows 1.76 milligrams of vitamin C if metabolized can release up to 6x 10 to the 18th electrons.
    ( 6,000,000,000,000,000,000)
That is 10 fold more than the grounding gets you .
From this we conclude the antidant claim and the "Ooh I felt better immediately" are made by people either telling lies for sales or feeling better for other reasons. Mostly wishful thinking.
I can show you the math if you care about the truth.
Remember people waste money make bad medical choices and sometimes die if you convince them something useless will cure their medical problems. A responsible person would care about finding the truth. Are you a responsible person?

@@mballer What do you actually know about this? I know from seeing interviews and reading studies with Earthing product vendors and researchers that they say we need the earthing electrons to act as ANTIOXIDANTS that neutralize free radicals. Anyone not living a rock knows Vitamin C among other things is metabolized as an antioxidant. From school biology we learned antioxidants react by losing an electron that ends up in oxidizing agent neutralizing it. Free radicals are oxidizing agents. I doubt it but ground current electrons might act as antioxidants. Even if they all did the math you called derp shows ground current is way too small to have noticeable antioxidant health effects. The math shows the number of electrons from a day of grounding is similar to the antioxidant available from the vitamin C in a teaspoon of orange juice. Don't dismiss someone who questions your beliefs unless you have some facts to show how they were mistaken.
