I gave my Mom and husband an earthing mattress pad, she’ sleeps 12 hours a day, arthritis stuff at 67. Her first night, she knocked out so hard, she said she couldn’t turn over at all, was paralyzed with sleep…Thurs morning she woke at 4:45 , exactly 8 hours later, and worked out on her elliptical twice by 9am. I feel she will be A-OK in a couple of months 😀

Thank you for spreading the knowledge of grounding/earthing and the benefits people can experience. With new technologies, we now have grounding shoes that look and feel like regular and modern shoes, although allow conductivity to pass through the shoes and into a person's feet. Keep spreading the great info. 😀 - Live Life Grounded!

I recently purchased a grounded underlay for my bed. I understand the theory Clint puts forward, and it does make sense to me that being grounded was part of the human design. 14 days later, I am still in a lot of pain daily, but will keep an open mind on all of this as it may take more time for the effect to kick in. Either way, it cannot do me any harm and do seem to be sleeping somewhat better, so that is a good thing. There are multiple reasons for pain, not just the fact that inflammation is present, which is why it may not be a total cure for it.

What did it entail? I am thinking about putting a strip of some kind of metal tape across my bed (I usually sleep in underwear), that connects me to the ground outside my window.

@@curtmcdougall8598 - it is just an underlay or a sheet with straps to go around mattress. The material has metal embodied in it. I paid $400 for this, so recommend to try the simple stuff first. If your pain is purely due to inflammation, you may get benefit.

I have chronic pain. I have a single prong wire I can plug into a wall socket. I've tested the socket and it's properly grounded. I attach this directly to the bottom of my foot with a conductive pad, like with an ecg or 'tens' unit.
I've sleep like this, and wear it occasionally while sitting during the day.
I have experienced zero benefit from this that I can perceive.
I'm on the fifth floor, so making an earth ground would be difficult and walking barefoot is seasonally restrained.
Plus, the times I have tried bare feet grounding, I've gotten the same nothing...

I got a grounding yoga mat. I've used it all but a few days for about an hour for 5 or 6 weeks. I have Fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, osteoarthritis, degenerative disc disease, chronic ulcerative colitis, both of my knees have their meniscus torn in more than one place, neuralgia in my feet, and possible trigeminal neuralgia. I bought the mat because I wanted to increase my energy. Results show a subtle increase in energy, I'm able to get to sleep more quickly (30 minutes instead of an hour), and the pain isn't as bad (5 or 6 on the 1-10 pain scale instead of 6-7). I wouldn't call it a miracle, but it has helped.
