The Evolution of the Granola Bar

  • After visiting a granola bar factory recently, I had one question on my mind - where did these things come from?
And thus, my googling began and I was flabbergasted once I learned of the story and the cast of characters involved in the creation of granola bars. And so I'm here to share that story, while also doing a gluten free granola bar taste test because that's what I do on this page.
Hope you guys enjoy this one because it was a lot of fun to put together. If I got anything wrong on the history part, please let me know, but for reference most of my sources are below:

This is the type of TH-cam content I like to see at 2am while I also eat granola 🤭🤭🤭

Will you do a holiday cooking video? A lot of people are really struggling with their first GF holidays. I’m a pro at this point, but I think this would be a super helpful video to make

NZ and Australia do not consider oats as GF as they have a similar protein to gluten which causes the same reaction as if you ate gluten. If you choose to eat oats you have todo tests to determine if they are safe for you. It’s very interesting seeing other countries eat oats but over in NZ and Australia we don’t.
