Q: "Where is this?"
A: Our fire house is located in the town of Willow Street, just south of Lancaster City, Lancaster County Pennsylvania.
Q: "What is the spinning thing?"
A: That is called the "Roto-Ray," it is a spinning light designed to catch drivers attention.
Q: "Why is the call so far away?" or "Why does it take so long to get there?"
A: Many of our responses, or at least many of the ones that are uploaded are responding to assist other departments. Usually another firehouse can be seen or is passed by who is already on the call. We can reach the far end of our first due in West Lampeter Twp within 5 minutes, and in Providence Twp about 7.

A: For dash cams I use a GoPro Hero 7, helmet cam videos I use a FireCam 1080

I find this first alarm entertaining because, I work as an operator that monitors fire and security panels for residential and commercial buildings. I have had less than 3 real fire alarms and I've been doing this for almost 2 years. The amount of burnt food, smoking and equipment errors (ie, low air pressure in the WF system) I get is absurd. Happens all the time. I tell people all the time that even if we cancel your false alarm the FD will more than likely show up anyways just to be sure probably just like the second one here.

The purge valve on 502 for the air cleaner sounded very active. Might want to keep your eye on that.

It is censorship to protect personal information. Unfortunate but necessary for such videos to be released. After all you wouldn't want them broadcasting your name and address to all the internet either.
