It is almost certainly due to having empathy with the neighbor. Do you know what it's like to live next to a barracks where sirens wake you up at any hour? Regarding the lights, I couldn't tell you, but I understand the siren part, unless there is another reason that the video does not show. Greetings
I love these ride alongs... this is one the best ones yet... roto-ray lights, sirens, speed, and rain and the best part of all of this... No freakin' music! Normal background noise, just the way I love it.
My dad was a volunteer fire fighter he told me he went to a garage fire and they blew it out in the backyard because a couple kids played with matches but nobody was hurt
@@haroldenglish943Why are you projecting about his intelligence? The response time has nothing to do about the area being rural. Most of their response times are 5-8 minutes. They are responding to a mutual aid call thats more than likely outside their district thats why they took the highway in the first place.
A beautiful drive scenery wise. I like the description cause yes I was wondering what the spinny thing was. Sadly though, you try to explain response time, I know a bit about cars, rode in a engine in a parade years ago thanks to my uncle a battalion commander, it wasn’t a pumper, or one with all the rescue equipment on it, just a big brand new at the time engine (though it had a water tank, equipment, and the ability to pump water). None the less it wasn’t a Ferrari😂 and in that town the nearest city where I reside now is like 24 miles…… so several thousand pounds I get it. Must say though in this vid that’s the fastest I’ve seen an engine roll
The windshield wipers make more noise than the Q does and did absolutely nothing for the windshield, either. In any case... thank you for your services.
I realize you've never riden in a vehicle bigger than a prius but generally speaking, there is always an area below the wiper blade that never gets touched by the wiper. Which, just happens to coincide with where the camera is placed.
How does one fix drainage issues on an irregular and outrageously severe storm? Since you are clearly a cement dweller, how does fix a non existent problem?
@ wow, didn’t realize you were so sensitive that you’d get triggered by a year old comment lmao. You must believe every word of your city government when they say “there’s nothing wrong with our drainage, it’s just not possible” because they failed to grade the road properly to make water run off to the sides. There should always be a slight gradient from the center of the road to the edges, so water naturally runs off the road. Yet some of these roads is pooling into the center, which means the road is doing the opposite. Hilarious that you assume because I know a little bit about road drainage that I’m a city dweller
@bryanthornburg8636 The word "City" isn't one I use. Only cement dwellers use it. Only lived in an urban environment once, compliments of the Army. Any who, again, explain to me how well drainage works from Hurricanes in cement dweller land versus here, where again I'll repeat, an unusual and severe storm occurred. And if you haven't figured it out yet, this area is rural Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Where County Government is as affective as the "League of Friendship." Most Government in Pennsylvania is on the "Township" level and therefore, infrastructure is widely different. In rural areas, drainage consists of whatever the farmer gives a damn about. With many being Amish, some how don't think they give a whip about automobile traffic issue. But hey, keep on with road crown and non existent drainage ditches. And lastly, I ain't the one triggered by a new post on a year old whistle.
It’s a water tank some would say it’s a pool, but being that there’s no hydrants in the area or on that road you would do what’s called a “tanker taskforce” which is basically a nonstop rotation of tankers constantly refilling that tank until you get the fire under control. and the tankers usually come from anywhere within a certain mile radius in my area within two hours of Lancaster County at certain house fires we’ve had tankers come from almost 25 miles away.
0:10 would think would open the door sooner or before starting the engine since it takes a while for it to go up. 4:25 Notice that they ride in the right lane more than the left. Most of the time I see them riding in the left lane as slower traffic is in the right
Rare moments: no lights & siren at the beginning, heavy rain, a rainbow, more rain and flooded roads. Crazy!

Thank you for your service Willow Street Voulenteer Fire Company!
Thank you!
Two things I love, storms and sirens :-D
This truck needs new wipers and blinker fluid.
It doesn’t need those it’s just cuz the cam is not where the blade is wiping
most fire trucks have straight windows so the wind and the rain hit the window

Are seatbelts optional in this department? I thought it was a state law.
All states have exemptions to not only seatbelt laws, but most laws.
So, read the entire seatbelt law for your state and see all the exemptions.
Why does it matter what the law is on seatbelts? Wear them for safety
