@@genespell4340 are you serious? if you know how an engine works you will know that at least one intake valve and one exhaust valve will be open when the engine is off, obviously the salt water will get into the engine and rust inside, turbos will rust if you stop using the boat for a while, now imagine how it would rust in the sea, for the engine to look like in the video it had to be in the sea for months or years, don't believe everything you see on the internet, TH-cam is full of liars doing fake videos to get views, although the video is good for entertainment, the engine part is not real.

Every American should watch this. We waste so much. Awesome video. I’m restoring a old pick up right now. Thought I take a break and watch some you tube. Super please I did thank. I’m sure most the people who watch this are this kinda of person. I know I I’m. Watching these keeps me excited about my project when your in the part of restoring that’s not that exciting it’s easy too put it on the back burner. Love the rebar chisel I’m making one!

Barnacles will attach and start growing within days, based on where he lives i would say that engine has been in the water 2 weeks max. Notice how the inside still had oil and looked clean? If it had been any longer the salt water electrolysis would have started eating into the iron of the crank, rods, mating surfaces making the engine scrap. To be honest, i'm not convinced parts of this havent been faked. There a loads of fake "restoration" vids on YT.
