Question about ice baths during long training periods: In Theory it decreases the inflammation in the muscles or in other words it decreases the training effect of the Training you done before If that is correct ? So is there just good timing during the Training circles where it helps more than it does stop the training effect or in general what’s the rules with ice baths ?
The reason why we are taking it is basically just because we enjoy it! Also feel it’s good for recovery and I always have good legs after sauna/ice bath, but nothing more scientifically than that!
Yo! I’m swimming probably twice a year😅 but I’m running maybe every 4th day during the winter and I have no pain while running now! Big difference between running 15k and 100k per week🤠

Was supposed to be 4 weeks, but was sick for the last 2 weeks of my season, so ended up to be in total of 6 weeks. Glad for it now, because I feel very recovered and I respond good at training now
Can happen in the beginning of a session if you have a lot of carbs available. Then you can be a bit inefficient in the beginning and then the lactate will be a bit higher than normal. Is this case I also felt that I was below 3.1, so therefor I pushed the same power and then the lactate dropped
