Another great, entertaining video. Excited for your trip to Europe and the videos coming out of that. On a separate note, went from one of your older videos to this one, and this one was very quiet comparatively. Just a heads up
Thanks for the heads up! Audio mixing is my Achilles heel… always trying to improve. I used to mix too hot, and maybe I went too far the other way in this one 😜
Good luck! You should visit the Netherlands, you'll be above average there! That's what I love and hate about cycling, you can be heavy or lightweight, tall or short, a sprinter or endurance type, you got to play the cards. I know I'm only above average on a downhill section, haha. Stay very very humble on the climbs though if you're taller and heavier than the average cyclist. In fact, I find climbing to be so depressing that I avoid it at all costs, no matter how beautiful the scenery is.
Thanks for the video, hope you enjoyed the training camp. I did a couple when I was 17 and racing, loved it. Now at 30 I'd love to go do one soon. Have fun in Europe, got a lot of fun climbs ahead, take care 👍
Gonna try the ketones for recovery. I’m 54 and having probs w/ fatigue and over reaching. Training is hard when u r midlde aged and work full time! Cool green kit btw
Bay Area significantly windier and colder and gets way more rain … La has multiple climbs that go above 5k some even up to 6-7k which can’t be said for the bay
I love 'em, and haven't had any issues on super sunny days! The only time I use the regular lenses is if I'm on an afternoon ride and I know I'll be done before the sun goes down--mostly because I feel guilty that they're underused lol
Thanks man! It’s good to step back and see the big picture like that-hard to do when I spent the week with stronger riders who were ripping my legs off 😂
Funny, a week ago I was looking at PJamm's top 10 hardest climbs. For one I was thinking wtf?! 😮 the whole time. 2 I thought "I wonder if Mitch will try any of these?" I got my answer. Good luck and I am looking forward to this.
Mitch, you should come visit me here in south Africa. We have a cement climb that will obliterate your legs and could possibly be the hardest in the world
Yup… find a route a pro hasn’t done, or create one - then lock it… that works every time… 😅… I mean I wouldn’t know personally, I’m just sayin I heard it can be done… 😆🍻
It’s a ball head clamp that I got off Amazon to try out, but unfortunately it’s not very stable. I had to constantly adjust it and I wouldn’t recommend it. The most stable mount I’ve found is the Insta360 Seat Post mount, but it only attaches to round bars so I have to cheat it by mounting it to the drops. That’s how I get the side view shots. There will be a bit more detail o the setup in the next video

Can't wait for the Europe trip, they're beautiful climbs everyone should experience at least once.
Let’s go Mitch!!!
Also need to find segments that have not cheated on by people with cars or motorbikes :(
Can’t wait to see you try Scanuppia🤩🤩
I’m equal parts excited and terrified 😅
Thanks for the video Mitch.
When are you coming to try the Scanuppia? I live pretty close (Trento) and I tried/"rode" it one time... would love to see your attempt.

that handle bar bag is killing your aero gains
