Ddaeng is another seemingly simple song/rap, but as you have just learned, nothing is ever straight-forward with the Rap Line. Check it out and the explanation by DKTV and prepare to have 🤯 time 😱

You hit the nail on the head. David was talking about several suicides of K pop stars that were severely bullied. Sadly, suicide is not uncommon in SK at all among celebrities and everyday people.

You have the rare quality of being able to set your ego aside to really learn! I have a new place to look for explanations of Korean culture when I know I’m lost culturally, linguistically. Thanks for doing this. I hear various comments from some reactors (that I’ve given up on) because they can only relate to American cultural references; anything else is flotsam. Really enjoyed this. Thank you!

I love that you did this! You’re gonna love Ddaeng (with the explanation too as it’s full of wordplay). Thank you for taking onboard all the comments🙏

Man this is refreshing someone sharing the fact they are looking into the deeper meaning. I’m seeing a lot of reaction videos out there of people just putting on a show reacting at surface level for the views that BTS brings. I like that you’re actually interested and show us you’re learning more. I’m here for it!!

I am not sure if you are aware of this, but BTS donated 1 million dollars to BLM last year, then Army matched that within 24 hrs. As the mother of two Black men about your age and a life long hip-hop fan that meant a lot to me. If you should react to Ddaeng by the rapline I would suggest just reacting to the DKDKTV explained with it. That track is straight genius. Outro Tear as well.

So glad you did DKDKTV! His explained for the rap line songs are priceless! Especially for DDAENG. I can't wait until you do that song because you will love it, plus it was a gift to ARMY that was never released any other way than SoundCloud. For this song, you really tried and we saw you struggling with that awful color coded video. Your journey should not be that rough and we won't let it be that, if we can help it. Also, I love your analogy of what happened last summer, said the same thing after a while.

I am so happy to learn you took our advice and checked these explanation videos about BTS songs. And I love these "conversations" we are having with you. You are a very thoughtful person and that shows in your reactions. You are bringing the conversation about BTS lyrics to a higher level - and I personally think this is what BTS love see the fanbase doing. :) Deeper conversations are always the first step to real/positive changes to ourselves and the world.

I am so glad and appreciate how you heard the ARMY'S and reacted to this explanation. I hope you continue to do so whenever we guide you to watch an explanation. We only hope that people listening to them understand the depth of their concepts and lyrics to understand why they are so loved as artists. 💜💜💜🇮🇳

Kudo and Thanks for checking this "Explained" Toney. Fact: Several Korean Celebrities/Actor/Actress has committed Suicide by Haters via Social Media and BTS wanted to Address the Problem.
