You can hear the compression is super low, lugging it like that must have loaded it up and that weight did her in. Hope you're able to get it refreshed soon!
Yea that should’ve been your first sign was that realizing your bike was starting to act different and that it was struggling. No hate man blowing up bikes is my specialty sadly.
Yikes sorry to hear that dude. But that was exactly my thoughts too, I was just glad It wasnt any worse. it does stink that it blew up but thats part of the sport!
Not hating or anything because I used to have the habit too, but the throttle blip on the take off is sketchy man. It unsettles the bike so much and makes jumping so much more unpredictable. If you stay steady into the jump with the throttle which you did a few times I think you’ll have a much safer ride. Just an opinion and no hate. 👍🏼 bummer about your bike too. Sucks how much 4 strokes cost to rebuild.
I agree with you its not a very good habit but im not sure if its just the way i position my body sometimes but it feels like it keeps my bike from nose diving. I will absolutely say that i rode my buddies 450 and i did it and it was very different feeling and nose wheelied a lot. Definitely some slow rebound on my suspension but i do like the feel of it right now. I do want to try slowly getting into having more entry speed into the jump and not having to use any gas off the jump face at all
@@codeybean it sounds like body position to me like you said. But keep doing what’s comfy for you if it’s working. It’s all supposed to be fun anyway. But if you can start getting more entry speed and fix some technique stuff you’ll probably not nose dive nearly as much I’d imagine. Hope you can get back out there soon.
Everyone on here blaming the bike and that 4 strokes ain’t good. It’s poor maintenance I’ve had 4 strokes for years and never had a single problem just change the oil and filter after every ride and it’s mint if you ride with same oil multiple time it’s just messes up the engine

@codeybean The air filter on the YZ250f's is notorious for sucking dirt past the air filter. The filter vibrates at high rpm and "unseals" itself (bad air filter design) and the way the airbox is designed allows the dirt to fall straight into thru the throttle body and into the motor. It happens when people change their air filter as well. They make Aftermarket kits that address this problem.
@@usmc03 Alright good to know. Yea literally that was the last turn on the track so i was just trying to make it off to check it out safely but it was too late. It is what it is.
Where is this track looks super fun
508 international in charlton, MA
Idk if it was suspension but torwards the end your bike started to sound a little different and almost sounded like it was knocking
I cant even hear anything with the sounds of all the other bikes tbh with ya
That knocking was coming from his engine. If your ever riding and you hear knocking or ticking it could be your engine getting ready to seize up

this had about 140 I would guess. I bought it with 100 already on it and havent really checked since.
