    Hello.
    I'm impressed with the work you have done on this motorcycle, I'm a new follower of yours and another lover of the Harley Davidson brand.
    I have a question: How much does the material cost without including the labor performed?
    Thank you!

    I'm looking to go gear drive on my '99 Road King...not going this far, just want it rock solid so I don't have to worry about the tensioners...what's the biggest cams I can put in a stock 88" ?

    • @DirtBikesDragRadials
      @DirtBikesDragRadials  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Personally, I would stick with something like a .510 S&S if you’re main interests are reliability and drivability. Will make great power in a stock (ish) 88, sounds great, and still gets decent mileage, starts well, etc.
      You can go bigger, but with stock bore, heads etc, it’s not going to give you ideal results.
      Thanks for the question!

    • @Road_Rash
      @Road_Rash 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Awesome! That's pretty much all I want is dependability, I lost the need for speed years ago...just like to cruise along & enjoy the scenery...now to start saving for the swap...

    Does anyone make larger counterbalances to offset the increased vibration from the bore and stroke kit? What does the motor feel like with the OEM balancers?

    It almost seems like it might be cheaper just to buy a different motor.

    • @dgus4393
      @dgus4393 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They do not make any motors that will fit in the softail frame. Dyna's and Touring yes.
      Just did my fatboy to a hot 110. Twin Cam B motor. S&S do not even make engine cases that fit.
