    Love your videos. It helped a lot with getting to know how to use Vyper. I had same issue and have tried to resolve it per you guidance. Unfortunately it did not work. I got in contact with support and they have send me the whole extruder assembly and it resolved the issue. I have figured out that it was actually stepper motor overheating. So if method in the video does not help, try replacing the stepper motor. The symptoms for me was clicking sound as extruder was unable to push filament efficiently as well as under extrusion.

    Bob, the fact they didn't help or want to made me subscribe and contribute. Rattle on, bro!

    Thanks Bob for this video. I appreciate simple but efficient. I looking on it to understand why when I screww or unscrew no speedchange on the distribute filament. I think my problem is somewhere else.

    I have an issue with mine Vyper, when it push the fillament in, the tubing pops out and the fillament goes in at the top but not In the tubing to the nozzel. I tried to tiden up the teflon tubing but it still pops out while feeding the filament. How to fix it?

    Thank you for this video and instructions! So happy to find it. However, I've tightened everything and even tighten the extrusion force and it still does the crunching noise. Got anymore ideas?

      A partially clogged nozzle or hotend will make the extruder make noise also.

      @@B3DPrinting Do you just replace the nozzle or remove and clean it?

    • @B3DPrinting
      @B3DPrinting  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If it isn't leaking and not worn, you can clean it with a cleaning tool (acupuncture needle) or by cold pull method.

      In my experience with the vyper the clicking noise is mearly a symptom of a deeper problem. Deap cleaning the nozzle and even the entyre hot end will help a lot. If you hear clicking clean everything, underextrudion is enevitable if not... potentially full blockage.

      @@3D_Prints there was a big problem in the early run of vypers having the grub screws in the extruder loose. I still see it occasionally, but for a while, it was every new printer out of the box. Yes, hotends getting clogged is definitely the probable cause if the extruder is tight.

    Hello dear plastic bakers, I have a problem, I would like to replace both gears on the extruder with new and better ones. One gear is no problem, but the other gear on the clamping device, how do I get it replaced? I can't even get the old one out.

    Also add some lube. Mine was tight but there was some squeaky sound. After lube was added, the sound was gone

    1) Stop asking Anycubic to sponsor you. You come across as desperate.
    2) Don't use the terms "it should be" and "about". Leave the ambuiguity to our goverments.
    3) Manual clearly states 18mm between the gearbox housing and underneath the thumb screw. You claim 17mm. Which is it?
    4) Why is the screw that holds the gearbox to the motor loose? Tighten it.
    5) You failed to mention that those gears need lubrication.
