  • In this video I'll show you how you can clean the extruder of the Anycubic Vyper (and other FDM Printers).
Sorry for the bad videoquality in the beginnig of this video, later in the video the blur is gone 😉

0:39 At this point, my gear and shaft came out all in one piece. I am unable to slide the gear off the shaft.
In the video at this point, there is a small metal part that stays in the clear plastic house. Mine came off with the rest of the assembly and will not separate.
    Anyone have any thoughts?

I don't think that's a problem. ;) But can the gear turn freely?
      Sorry for the late answer..

Thank you, nice video ! I have to do it in the near future and it help me ! After that, do you have to calibrate the extruder ?

You don't need te calibrate anything, after you cleaned it, you can start printing again.

When my extruder retracts filament quickly it makes a clicking noise , what could be the cause or issue?

On the extruder, there is a knob/gear/bolt and maybe it's puching the filament to much so maybe if you turn the bolt counter clockwise the clicking sound will go away...
I had that clicking sound too and with this solution it stopped clicking so hopefully it will work at your vuper too ;)

I am considering buying an Anycubic Vyper, do you like the printer? If not/yes why.And if you have any different recommendations please share, thank you.

I really like the printer but I would recommend you buying their newer model, the Kobra, The Kobra series has printers with differend buildvolumes so you can choose between them and they've basicly upgraded the Vyper into the Kobra.. I've always been happy while using the Vyper because It prints perfectly with PLA, PETG and even TPU, I always have perfect results, it has better parts then for example an Ender 3(V2/Pro/..) The Vyper and the Kobra both have auto bedleveling which makes it very easy to get everytime that perfect first layer!

good video, but you should refilm it with a better camera if you can, certain parts of the extruder teardown were verry blurry.

I Know, I accidently started filming with my action camera but while doing it I realized I was going to have everything blurry.. so while doing the assembling I did it with my video camera ( Normally you see a difference)
      But thanks for watching :)
