There is nothing like watching the unboxing of quality tools!! I just bought the original flex 3401 a few days ago, looking forward to using it. Cheers!! 👍🇨🇦
Hello Joe and team. Could use your advice. Getting ready to pull the trigger on the “Beast” Xce, but can decide if I should purchase the corded or cordless version. Love having cordless tools but concerned about the lack of correcting ability compared to its corded brother. Could the cordless still correct the same in the end if you spent more time on the project? If so, approximately how much more time are we talking? I’m doing it for my family/friends vehicles so speed isn’t necessarily the be all factor, but I don’t want a lazy machine either. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
If you're going to be doing corrections then go Corded. We use our Cordless for light enhancements or if we are correcting a small area. It's mega convenient using cordless especially when working on a big vehicle but I believe the corded is more consistent in power. Thanks James!
Also James, it takes roughly 30 - 40min to charge the batteries and you only get about 20 - 30min use out of each battery with full power. At the end of the day, i think your best value is the corded version. :)
But on a private detailing group it has been reported numerous times that the new corded flex supa beast DA polisher is not as powerful as the original v r g 3401 beast!! The original does sound stronger in the video.
The answer is no... Same 8mm eccentric offset Lower OPM Lower RPM Crappy 3 point stud backing plate system Only thing it has going for it is the more ergonomic case..

If you have to get one to use on both gelcoat and paint? what would buy? I cant wait to see the next video to see if this new one cuts as much. thanks
I'm still yet to make this video, but i'm finding the machines to be pretty much the same. Our team are really enjoying this new model.
Enjoyed the video... really like that car.
Thank you Blake!

@@cleangetawaycardetailing Thank you for your help! Corded it is. Thanks again.
So, this is *noticeabley* more smooth than the VRG?
Yeah that true

@@cleangetawaycardetailing thanks! Do you have any other videos where you use it?
@@qwikss4469 it's pretty much used in all our videos 👌👌

@@404notfound..... yeah it's true. But we haven't tried a bigger backing plate like the VRG has so that would be a better comparison I think
