The opening bit is just as good as Christopher Reeves changing from Clark Kent into Superman, and the end bit is very reminiscent of Box Peek, I give this video all the werehogs.

The quality of their output was so different to game trailers which was crazy considering they were making bank from patreon.

I think Kyle knows this. His videos have been around the ten minute mark for a long time. He actually criticizes Sakurai for not having much to say. I'd like to see Sakurai take the training wheels off myself. Mark Darrah of Bioware fame has been doing this sort of thing for a long time and he always presents us with an in-depth look at topics, exploring them from all angles, it's much more engaging and it's usually just himself talking into the camera.

What's interesting I found is not only was Spencer saying the game would remain on PS for at least 6 more years, he confirmed it would have "content parity". Something Sony ensured wasn't the case when the company wasn't even theirs. They've had tons of exclusive content or early content deals made with Activision. Not even gonna bother calling Jim Ryan an hypocrite because CEO is gonna CEO, but it's interesting the lengths MS are going through to seem fair after the acquisition. It's like they're telling them "you have 6 years to make your own FPS franchise".

Sony comes off as so petty with this. I don't want the games business to consolidate, but Sony has been locking games away from other platforms for years. It's so ironic that they're the ones making a big deal over it. I've been a PS fan since PS1, but they've been making some really dumb decisions lately.

Consolidation was always the path this industry would go down, as all lucrative industries do under capitalism, but you are out of your mind if you don’t think Sony put MS in a corner where they had to decide whether to bow out or go all in.
