I'm confused about the holster, if it's always connected, where is the loop of hose sitting if you intend to pull it out? Where would you put the macerator switch?

Will the macerator pump uphill? How high a hill? I'm installing an RV hookup in my backyard for our '78 Royale when we're not traveling. The sewer clean-out at the house is about a foot higher than the RV. Can the macerator handle that rise? The macerator is already installed, by the way. I could experiment to find out, but then I might find myself in deep shit.
