What frame rates are you getting when you use picture by picture? I saw another reviewer say they could only get 60 FPS for both sources in that mode.
you get 144hz splitting scren? or 60Hz-70Hz on each one. On Samsung G9 G95SC you get 120hz if you split the screen. is the same here? Thanks!!

The Honey Comb on the wall are 3D hexagonal sounds panels and I got them on Amazon. They look awesome but the only downside is that they stick out a lot so plan accordingly :

As for which one, that is a tough one. Since I have the space and I love the Super UltraWide format, I would end up with this one. But knowing myself, I'd splurge on getting the 4K as well 😅
This review was insane , best on the web , I get mine tomorrow. Was wondering when you hook up the Pc and the Mac and get half screen can you easily to full screen on each one of them ? Did you nail down a Resolution that was best for text or day trading charts. ?

and on Mac : 3840 x 1080

Just curious if you found any input delay when using the monitor split between two sources. I stream and I'd using half for my Gaming PC and the other half for a second monitor of my streaming PC.
When you use PBP (split screen) you lose a lot of features like adaptive sync and I believe the max refresh rate go down as well. I wouldn't be surprised if input delay increaes
Are there any settings in the menu that has burn-in prevention? I typically code for 8-10 hours a day and then game after work.
Yes it’s built into the menu settings as well. The display center widget just makes it easier to access it
Does the smart kvm feature also work with 2 desktops (instead of 1 laptop/1 desktop)? It sounds like you have to connect one system via the usbc port to get the smart kvm, which you wouldn't do for a second desktop?
That's a good question ! I know top of the end motherboards have support for thunderbolt display, so that should work , and also something like a Mac Studio would work as well. But other than that, I honestly am not sure

@@alphamore3554 well to be able to use the mouse and keyboard between the two systems i think one machine has to be usbc and the other machine has to be dp/hdmi but with the usb b cable connected
Honestly, too low hz, I think my next monitor purchase is going to have to be displayport 2.1
There's no way to enable VRR on PS5 or is that only depending on how you split the windows?
No way for VRR, unless there's some firmware update that somehow enables it.

What wallpaper is that dragon one?
The dragon one is Rayquaza. You can find it on Wallpaper Engine (App on Steam). If by any chance you're referring to the other wallpaper with the black 'dragon' that would be Mega Charizard X, also on Wallpaper Engine
Can you confirm, that if Smart KVM is on, the monitor only works with 60Hz? At least I see 60Hz in your video
I don’t have the monitor anymore, but I can confirm that Adaptive Sync will be off if Smart KVM is on and/or split screen

I haven't used that one yet, but that would be the next Super UltraWide I review. In my opinion, this one is better than the OLED G9 that came out before (G95SC)

why asus has only 144Hz refres rate and Samsung has 240? It is not the same panel?!?!?
Its the same panel, and I honestly don't know the reason unless it has something to do with quality control and longevity
@@FIREWOLFTECHMy personal, totally unqualified theory is that it has to do with signal integrity going through the KVM hardware.
I still choose samsung oled due to glossy coating and internal speaker... Even got tv apps in their monitor
QD-OLED is made by Samsung, so this monitor uses the oled panel as you’d find in any of their QD-OLED monitors.
You get that nice gloss 🔥
But yeah, no internal speakers or smart apps

@@midicronica1 You're getting a custom heatsink that improves cooling and a KVM switch. I think if you don't need a KVM switch, then the Samsung is a great choice. I would have to get my hands on the Samsung first
@@FIREWOLFTECHCherry on top Type C connectivity with PD , Plus PBP mode to connect multiple inputs , smart KVM . Samsung u can do PBP but one by cable another device wirelessly, plus the type C connevtivity issue with OLED g9
