the diagram quiet clearly shows the silver end going to the leds yet when you wire it up to the colbalt the silver end is quiet clearly going in to the colbalt , rather confusing or am i missing something
Hi there are TWO diagrams for the two scenarios which one are you referring to the first one or the second one? Because each scenario has it in the opposite direction so you may have answered your own question. Lol let me know I’ll assist. Even the time on the vid pass it on and I can review accordingly.
i was trying to add leds to make a control panel and your video was one of the best at explaining things , the diode was confusing me as being shown going in opposite directions , but i went out and got the parts you showed and wired one up and bingo it worked perfectly . i had previously been using lever switches glued to the colbalt so as the armature went over and pushed the switch so it would change the led , you made a great video and solved my problem that had me bugged for some time , many thanks jose @@josefbuckland
@@tonyfrench4525 EXCELLENT TO HEAR and that’s why I made the video I won’t lie I had a few sleepless nights because I had the parts and the emails going back and forth with DCC CONCEPTS but it just was not happening until I had some spare time to build and try and after a bit of trial and error and maybe one destroyed point motor which we won’t mention it all worked out the biggest DELAY is I’m have some signals custom made which will make all the more sense of what madness I’m up too but rest assured until the are built the wiring and further install on the points etc is on hold but it will be coming + a surprise addition I BELEIVE that will turn my layout on its head from the control side. Until then keep in touch.
