- This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Maneesh Garg runs a multi-million dollar company in Nigeria. But his story has not always been spectacular. In this talk, he speaks about being arrested, detained, duped and losing billions of Naira. His talk would attract would-be entrepreneurs.
Maneesh Garg was born on 29th April 1971 in Nairobi Kenya. His family moved to Nigeria in 1975 and he did his early schooling in Lagos. Later on he went to the UK for further studies and obtained his degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics at the University of Oxford, UK. Subsequently He obtained his Master’s Degree in Economics at the North Western University, US. He had a brief stint at the World Bank, Washington DC before coming back to Nigeria in order to pursue his life long dream of entrepreneurship.

I can relate to the real emotional drain when business is going through tough times. I have learnt as a young entrepreneur to stay focused and grateful to the very few things that are well as opposing to the things wrong around my business. Thank you Maneesh for sharing

The problem of this world is that people don't want to hear failures and accept the reality. Everyone wants to hear only creamy things but that person just told the reality that's why uncle u not learned anything from this...
Ashfaq Sheikh He just shared with you how to keep your sanity in the extreme highs and lows of entrepreneurship. You're going to need it.

1) Any difficulties you or yours friends ,family etc faces in doing a particular work.
2) Anything you don't like to do but have to do unwillingly.
3) Any problem you face for which there is no solution/ alternative solution available for that problem.
4) Any work you dont like and wish someone should be there to do you work.(Mention the work )
5) Any work which you find it very complex/boring/difficult and there is no easy way to do that work .
5) Any work for which you have to go outside because there is no home service available for it (mention the work )
