People that don't like Mr Kiyosaki's work are really either not reading it or having a hard time applying it. Mr Kiyosaki repeats himself a lot for a reason. He is not the one going to provide you with the financial education. He repeats to surround yourself with smarter people to learn, grow and develop. For anyone that has spent a single penny on any college education you understand that education isn't free. Robert doesn't put a gun to anyone's head to buy his material. That's a choice. All you really need from Robert is his first book and to take responsibility for your choices there after. He has also repeatedly said that there are people that will always want to work in trades or for other people. If that's what makes you happy. Happiness is a personal decision. He repeats that being financially wealthy is a side effect of being financially educated and applying that education. If your goal is money or greed than more power to you. He really can't make things more simple to understand. And for those that judge him for not giving them the magic answer on how to be rich, they should continue working for someone else and be happy with that. Take the good, leave the bad. The people who: - don't bother to learn how to build wealth, -don't learn new in demand skills, -don't ever attempt to start a business, -never ask how do I become rich -get the wrong advice because they are surrounded by other broke people Most entrepreneurs work MORE than most people 'initially' but they build assets that are worth something more in the long-run. You might work a year without making any money and being ridiculed by people telling you to go get a job. Not every entrepreneur is successful but you should try and find out. If you fail then damn - you are just stuck working for someone else for the rest of your life - until you decide to try again, and again...

I have re-read his books again and again, and they are still as relevant today as when first published. After re-reading his books, I find a more potent message then when I read it the first time. I did move from an E to an S, not much of an improvement, but I am no longer dependent on "someone else" for financial security.
Jens Behrendt just an analogy. 89% of millionaires do it through investing in real estate. They’re also part of the 1% Reality is that millions of people are in the “1%,” only 1% of people can accomplish it, not a bridge that can’t be crossed
What does "winning" mean to you? Do you think everyone should be forced to live the same lifestyle given different degrees of self-discipline, interests, skills, passions, and pursuits?
You see the wrong lesson. Monopoly is a game stored in a box. In the real world, the bank is constantly growing, so there can be and are many “winners”. Become one of them.
"Change your words, change your life" So damn true. I found it is really about developing your own inner dialogue to actually be on your side supporting you through all the rough times vs. that dialogue trying to scare you, put you down or simply not believing or trusting in you to overcome certain challenges. I came out of my most loving and chaotic relationship almost a year ago and was left a total wreck with no self belief whatsoever, no drive to get things done and it was my lowest point that I realized I needed to make a big change. I realized that I was my biggest enemy and it was my relationship with myself that needed the greatest change. That all started to come together when I started changing the words I used with that inner chit chat. Its been a process, but now I've got my drive back for life, more doors are opening for me, incredible people are flowing into my life regularly and I'm more financially stable than I've ever been. I don't believe this is any coincidence. Change your words, change your life!
Also keep in mind how other people's words are meant to CHANGE your perception or DRIVE you in different ways. ZOOM ZOOM. We are confronted with words constantly. It behooves us to dissect them.
consider the poor quality of the audio of this video, quality matters. is ted trying to shut it out?If is honest, would edit the audio back to something audible.
Rich are getting richer because they get bailouts from the public for their mistakes, while the less fortunate, "the poor", do not get bailouts. That's socialism for the rich, capitalism for the poor. Additionally, those from privileged backgrounds also have better education opportunities growing up so have advantages over those who wouldn't know about how to find investors or approach VCs. Yes, the poor can do the same and learn, but many of them are busy trying to survive off their meager paychecks. The rich kids can play with their parents money or sit around and learn about business while their needs are being taken care of. Kiyosaki is a scheister. John Reed did a great expose on Kiyosaki about 15 years ago, I suggest you all look it up. FYI: This guy has been around at least 20 years giving financial and business advice to millions of people, and yet inequality is getting worse and worse, the middle class has shrunk, homelessness is on the rise, cost of education skyrocketing, and 99% of his followers are still poor.
G.S. Kim No its not because of bailouts. You have to get somewhere to even get a bailout. He explains very well how to get rich. Using cashflow income and good debt. Now every man poor or wealthy can study no one can take that away from you. If you are truely too busy its on you to find a solution. Now about the national debt, financial advice isnt taking away national debt. The printed currencies can only come down in a massive crash. You can prevent yourself from losing all your money when this happens by investing in gold cause that cant loose as much value as printed money.
In a quality isn't even in important factor to look at. I'm fact, other people getting wealthy or becoming poorer is not important. The question is whether you are doing better or worse. We don't share incomes.
Those who keep commenting "he knows how to sell" need to understand they have ears of a consumer. Think about that one. I heard something completely different this whole presentation.
Crypto currency is gradually moving towards something big and the price surge over the past few months is just the beginning of greater things to come. you got any advice for someone that is fresh to crypto. Don't know where to start..

Regardless of whether you subscribe to Robert's ideas, and I'll grant you some are dubious.. He does highlight one thing correctly, during the first few minutes of the talk, we do have social capitalism where losses are absorbed socially by the poor working schmucks, but the gains are only for the elite few. And he's also right we are headed for a major stock market correction, thanks to the changing nature of capital, technology and geopolitical circumstances.. . My take away buckle-in the next few years are going to be a wild economic ride.
Excellent talk. One minor point of clarification: a house is an asset if you own it; it's a liability if the bank owns it. People with mortgages are literally living in their own liability. Scary stuff!!
No its not. He may not explained this part much more but in his other videos he explained it deeper why its a liability Its a liability because its not giving you passive income. You are paying bills and monthly dues to sustain it and maintenance or renovation that you need to make. It will only be asset once you sell it or rent it out.

It's all about having the right mental approach - thoughts are energy, create positive energy and you will succeed with whatever you focus your mind on (and patience is always needed as well as things happen in the right time and space).
It's all a mindset. If your mindset is to be $50k or $100k a year, then you can achieve it. If you're trying to have a mindset on being a millionaire, you need friends that will get you there. Robert doesn't lie. He may sell his brand or give his talks like he's doing his job. But why is he successful and you're sitting on your chair or bed while watching this video wishing you're him? Go work several jobs. Matter of fact, we all change jobs several times in our lifetime to realize we're still living within our means and yet, that's exactly what the government and the IRS wants you there. Change your mindset and make your plans to not get stuck within your means; that's a life you never will grow but feeling "stuck."
This video was just brought to my attention in my transition process. I just want to thank you Robert for opening my eyes !!! *goes and purchases cashflow*

He's been talking for years, that the Baby Boom have to take their money out of the market or else they get taxed, through ERLIASA or some acronym from the 70's. Meaning, right now and every day forward, 10,000 people a day HAVE TO remove money from the stock market. Thus the greatest crash was written in the 1970's and Robert has known this since. Now you need to adjust your way of life and the way to make income, with a global Ponzi scheme added into the pot. Good luck. Go to your local library and get his books/teachings for free. Just saved you $100's. It's also in audio as well so you can listen on the go if you are a busy person. Peace.
I don't think Robert knows the meaning of "entitlement." Entitlement means you get what you pay for. If I pay for a meal, I'm entitled to receive that meal. If I pay my car insurance, I'm entitled to having the cost of a car wreck paid for, if I need it. We the People have paid for a functional government and we are entitled to that return on our investment. Instead our investment has gone to the oligarchs - the true welfare takers.

"In the February 2003 issue of SmartMoney magazine, Kiyosaki said “Is Harry Potter real? Why don’t you let Rich Dad be a myth, like Harry Potter?” In other words, the entire premise under which Rich Dad, Poor Dad was sold was a complete fabrication."
I strongly urge you to read the whole blog entry.
Evan Samdahl nonsense - the only real info in his books is to hang outside of bankruptcy courts and buy property for nothing from desperate people - the rest is just filler.
Learn the difference between a liability and assets. Start a business, buy assets, invest, and learn the tax code. This is gold but some people they don't see it. BUT its ok, they can be a worker bee.

It's 2024, I'm here to remind you again that it's not too late to take your investment journey seriously. I struggled for years before I started my crypto journey this time last year. All efforts before that moment felt hopeless and useless. I am here to tell you, it is not. Crypto changed my life.
You're right, the best time to buy in the market is when there's fear. A huge part of my growth has also come during this bear market. This last year alone, I have scaled from 150k to over 354k.
How were you able to make that much? Seems like I'm not lucky enough.
I invest in crypto and real estate crowdfunding alongside Olivia Charlotte Oswald.
I'm very much aware of the great benefits of working with a pro but I haven't found one for myself.
Oh! I found Olivia on the CBNC market interview, looked her up and we began our partnership.
BOOM!
Robert Kiyosaki dropping knowledge!

She is well known for what she does, when you search her name on your browser her web site is like the first thing that pops up..., on there you can find more info about her you can even shoot her a mail
ROCHELLE DUNGCA-SCHREIBER showed me great skills and knowledge about the market since I started trading with her. I enjoy full profits and easy withdrawal with no complaints, trade with the best I say
Honestly, she deserves more acknowledgements, just the same way I was going through comments and i saw this, I gave a try and it was quite overwhelming ever since!

Well said investing is good but investing in the right thing is the actual key to success.

The right choice of investment has always been a big problem for me because I know that picking up the wrong investment will leave a big scar in the future...
Robert Kiyosaki the first author that open my mind.
Same!
I love listening to him... He makes so much sense and makes it so simple. Change your words, change your world!!
Robert kiyosaki is revolutionary person. He changed my life. Rich dad poor dad book should be part of syllabus nursery to graduate level
No it shouldn’t. Lol ppl are so pathetic nowadays, any little advice about having a basic practical mindset seems like a gold mine.

rich dad poor dad is a great book, it'll change your life. Go for it.
I read it in college and definitely changed my life.
True, it really shifts you to another style of thinking
It shows you how the rich think, and how you think. Read it twice.
B edwards - The book discusses that, and you'd have to read the book to see his answers.

The people who:
- don't bother to learn how to build wealth,
-don't learn new in demand skills,
-don't ever attempt to start a business,
-never ask how do I become rich
-get the wrong advice because they are surrounded by other broke people
Most entrepreneurs work MORE than most people 'initially' but they build assets that are worth something more in the long-run. You might work a year without making any money and being ridiculed by people telling you to go get a job. Not every entrepreneur is successful but you should try and find out. If you fail then damn - you are just stuck working for someone else for the rest of your life - until you decide to try again, and again...
so you basically?
Honestly that's not something you have to worry about. Most are either lazy, scared or give up at the first set back.
give you a great example. I am very open with my employees, great group of guys. I can throw ideas at them all day everyday. Not once has someone said "that's a great idea, I think I will do it before he does." I wish they would.

Rich dad poor dad is now my favorite book. Not only am I actually learning but I lowkey just enjoy the story
@R Lopez I mean I do read reap books. 7 highly effective habits - I did love the whole hunger games series- and a few other book series
People don't even want to think a person's words through, they want someone to come and tell them do exactly this this and this to become wealthy , wait on the second hand I'll make the money for you and give it to you so you don't have to think or work or struggle or do anything

I have re-read his books again and again, and they are still as relevant today as when first published. After re-reading his books, I find a more potent message then when I read it the first time. I did move from an E to an S, not much of an improvement, but I am no longer dependent on "someone else" for financial security.
Change your comments change your life
If you bring up monopoly, why not spell out the one obvious lesson: Only one player can win.
Jens Behrendt just an analogy. 89% of millionaires do it through investing in real estate. They’re also part of the 1% Reality is that millions of people are in the “1%,” only 1% of people can accomplish it, not a bridge that can’t be crossed
Who’s to say when the game ends. Will you know? Has it ended yet? Has the winner been crowned? Get in the game, the day is still young.
Because its a game, NOT real LIFE 🧐
OMG this is so good. It will never get old!

I don't understand why there are so many negative comments about his talk. I think he just gave great advice that could change my way of thinking.
What they don't understand is that being rich is a mindset first, many people just want the money without understanding how the game is played.
Robert is a awsome person
VOLUME PLEEEEEEEEEEASE....I need this seminar

I was -$200,000 in debt when I fell over that Rich Dad book, now 10 years later i'm in the $10 mill plus side, and I own 51 properties with ZERO debt to the banks!!! I didn't learn how to do that in school, this was from what Robert teaches, and others like him. School will NEVER teach you this stuff!!
Sounds like you had a huge income in order to buy income producing assets.

When you want to build a home by yourself, you think just reading book about home, electricity, plumbing ects. You can build your own home? You think just listening him, you can become rich? The answer is experienced
I don't think he fully answered the question.
Read his books!!! i think the most important is that if you are an employee you can't let your retirement plan like heritage for your family, but when you are rich you can let all your assets if you want.
Is English your first language? Your response doesn't make sense.
No is not my first lengauge but i think u can understand what i'm trying to mean in my first coment.
No, sorry, it didn't make sense to me.
mysticaltyger2009 I mean that if u die like an employee your family have nothing, but if you die having assets u can let them to your family... that is what makes the difference, & also that in life you live better without having to work obviously
My hat is off to Robert for making a difference and so openly sharing what he's learned - his books are awesome and i'm going to start playing Cash Flow this week! "How can I afford it" is a quote that when shared, easily opens peoples minds. Thanks Robert!
Scary stuff!!
thanks for clearing I was having this doubt when he said this in the video.
No its not. He may not explained this part much more but in his other videos he explained it deeper why its a liability
Its a liability because its not giving you passive income. You are paying bills and monthly dues to sustain it and maintenance or renovation that you need to make. It will only be asset once you sell it or rent it out.
I can listen to this 100 times and still be amazed.
Thanks ROBERT for everything you teach ! I'm getting there. I bought a 3 building appartment with my brother, a condo that I rent to someone, and leaving in a nice appartment that cost me less than my condo. Invested in new online technologies , I traveled around the world, I tried some network marketting, failed, then tried again and finally made it. Your thoughts and actions are the outcomes of your poverty or wealth. Your life , your choice.
damn right "we are the masters of our faith, we are the captains of our souls" and we should move forward (get better)
Yes especially for someone who was born in Africa oh im sure it's that starving childs' fault that he was unfortunate enough to be born in a position where he'll never leave the poverty line.
Insert name here not true brother I understand your pain even I m from India . Country’s struggling with poverty can’t have capital enough to provide its ppl any money for innovation which is true and it sucks
Hey TEDx Talks....TURN UP THE VOLUME!!!
Beautiful and motivational at the same time! Words have power 🙌🙌
Change your mindset and make your plans to not get stuck within your means; that's a life you never will grow but feeling "stuck."
let me get out my magical crystals and call on the universe to make my self a richer person.

Really excited to hear what this man predicts to be what is going to be the next market collapse. attending one of his seminars tomorrow.
What did he say!?
Ask him why he lies so much about his record
+Guy Fawkes what does he say and what is it actually? How can we know?
Yes, what did he say!? specifically about a global collapse...
Peace.
I don't think Robert knows the meaning of "entitlement."
Entitlement means you get what you pay for.
The sound is fine btw, y’all just need better audio.
