One surefire way to know that someone was actually driving the car at the time of the crash is the fact that the airbags are deployed! 🤷♀️ Newer cars are built with sensors in the seat and the seat belt buckle that let the computer know that someone is sitting in that seat. Also some cars won't even deploy the airbags unless the person sitting in the seat actually has their belt buckled. Because if an airbag deploys on a passenger that doesn't have a seatbelt on, It can actually do more bodily damage to that passenger than if the airbag didn't deploy at all 🤷♀️ which is why we have seatbelt warning lights that only go off when you buckle your seatbelt, and chime and bother the hell out of you if you don't! Lol

I did a lot of street racing but always ran a few times before I would get to 8/10s and never went much above that. And always had a safe escape exit if I needed. I never would push it if there was a cliff or other problems as a potential. Just have fun and be safe.
This was Japan, they would drift it. The thing is drifting, you would brush the guard rail sideways. Hit it head on, you’re going through it. Guard rail is ment to be hit sideways so it kicks you back into the road.

I liked when you showed the VIN decoding of the other car to show what year it was. That will only work (with the modern decoders) from 1981 and up when the 17-digit VIN became standard in the US. The early ones have to be done another way.
@@reverserockettv007 yeah, @googleusergp is totally correct! The only way you can trace back a vehicle to the original owner is to have those last six digits, which is usually the production number or assembly line sequence number or something.... And that's what's kept in DMV records to ascertain who is the owner of that vehicle is/was. And then all the info you need to tell when the car was made and what factory it was made in and what engine the car originally came with can be found on all the rest of the digits..... So you don't really need the last 6 anyway.🙂

One person posted that the driver survived with only internal but failed to mention which car it was other than saying the roof was still intact. Regarding the Mustang, it appears nothing about that car was left intact with wheel and a large number of parts thrown everywhere near the car. What an impact. If the driver of that car survived he or she was a mighty fortunate person but in a general sense speed kills. The Mustang GT had a lot of power under the hood. I hope the driver of that car and got a second chance at life. The same thing for the Fiat, where the car was left more in tact.

Hey you should show the GPS co-ordinates on that.I def dont want to hit that corner too fast, Its like that fucked up movie SHATTERED the 1980s version. Great Video my man.
Your safety is more important than anyones opinion brother. Safety should come first, a helmet is a damn good idea, in that terrain. Especially when alone, which comes to my next point. Always have someone with you, never hike alone. Plan ahead ,and rethink everything.
Good advice!
many wrecks on/off Hwy 74 I have seen. even destroyed trailer down the steep canyon. 1st Mustang was CHP patrolman drove off 74 while in pursuit the escaped driver I dont remmy the year that happened
If that driver had its seatbelt on in the Mustang he/she likely lived, beat up but probably lived. Ive seen a lot worse and they walked away, the Mustang could have hit the deer🤷🏻♂️
It’s possible it hit the deer!
Why would you be speeding any where near a CLIFF?
Stumbled on this video, I saw the mustang and I drive a mustang so here I am. Beginning to end. Awesome job. Great find on the unical gas can collectible. It's from the 1800,s the company. Stay safe out there 🙏🏿.
Awesome! Thank you!
Learn your cactus and wear heavy duty, solid leather boots along with your snake protectors. better. Good luck.
Lol
Good facts!
Never cross at a curve because you have limited "Line-Of-Sight" and an even shorter audible warning.
Now i wanna Live in California because it's breath takeing and the cars are amazing would definitely get some beautiful photos with an Camara in the canyons and the cars if you can get there attention also great video just found you today when i ate breakfast and i gotta say i find the videos I've watched really interesting keep the great content rolling ❤️.
Thanks for watching! Where are watching from? State?
I'm watching from south Africa from a small town called sasolburg.
FYI--Do you ever see a game trail that goes straight up? Zig-zagging requires less energy though it may be a little longer distance, it is quicker.
Awesome hike as usual, always interested in all the random information along the way. I have been working on a mining game set in Arizona and its not easy to find references with quality footage roaming around the cliffs, plenty here though! Appreciate the long video and the cool scenic shots.
Thanks! I appreciate it!!
You were right their, I thought you were gonna keep pushing the hood up to show the 5.0 motor, those 5.0 are worth 100 bucks if they aren’t damaged!
I did a lot of street racing but always ran a few times before I would get to 8/10s and never went much above that. And always had a safe escape exit if I needed. I never would push it if there was a cliff or other problems as a potential. Just have fun and be safe.
Good example
This was Japan, they would drift it. The thing is drifting, you would brush the guard rail sideways. Hit it head on, you’re going through it. Guard rail is ment to be hit sideways so it kicks you back into the road.
You're up in the ortegas. great place for hiking and so forth. I won't drive the Ortega hwy as ppl are stupid while driving up through there.
Yea it’s an extremely dangerous and you must use extreme caution when driving for sure!
This was a wild hike down and up…it’s like we’re all there with you on those incredible rocky slopes. The cloudy day helped to get you to those horrendous wrecks. Thanks man!
Yea the weather actually helped me! Thanks for watching…
That’s a gully and it’s a wild river in heavy rain. They were all washed down that river but now it’s dry . Beware cause they flood fast and it may not even be raining ☔️ where u are
@HailCaesar-lm4bq Thanks!
So the paramedics repel down to rescue them? That’s insane
@@valbrooks2699 I am not sure how they got out? I couldn’t imagine trying to crawl out of there after crashing! That was one my favorite hikes to date. I know another location with 15 cars off one cliff but I don’t know how to get down such a steep and rugged cliff. I have tried few times to do it.
Yeah that was me I thought they would pull the car up from that ditch by now it's been a year I broke my arm and leg from that crash
So you were the one in the actual mustang?
You should take someone more experienced next time. You seem to expect something bad to happen.
I did this once on 74 by vista point saw a truck and my dumbas slipped sliding down a bit and slid into a cactus on my left side 😂😂😂 shit hurt pulling them out
You are awesome, your videos are excellent. I wish I were there with you, but I live in Toronto Canada & honestly I don't think I could hike those steep slopes like you can but I would like to try it some day but I'm 53 years old. I love nature & the outdoors & adventure so this is right up my alley. I pray that you will always be alright & everything goes well.
Thanks for the kind words!
take some tools with you. One mustang Caliper cost 200.00 easy to take off.
as a local in this area, living 1 mile north of the curvy highway 74, crashes are so normal on that road. everybody knows somebody that crashed on that road, including myself.
It’s a beautiful area to travel in!
Two Knees? LMAO..Attached with wire?..That was a wind chime...HaHaHa
keep at it bro. it will pay off. I enjoy watching your content a bunch.
I appreciate that!
Guy who crashed this car was barely injured. Minor stuff
How do you know? If you look through the comments, three people have came forward, saying they were the driver of this vehicle….I don’t know who to believe??
Wow! What an epic hike. Driving on mountain roads is fun, but always stay well within your abilities.
You got that right! Thanks for watching!
Nope. I’m not going to end up like one of these people because they were either going too fast or they were driving careless!
Great video! The need for speed + John Barleycorn must be a factor in a lot of these wreaks especially for the older ones, back in the day when you were out driving around because you had been drinking.
Great point!
Man. nice why didn't you show us under the hood of the Mustang, that's what we want to see and also inside !
Don'T WORRY ABOUT THE ROCK SLIDES BE WORRIED ABOUT THE FLYING CARS . Seems to be a regular thing in them parts.
🤭🤭🤭
awesome job thats a heck of a hike love your videos keep up the good work!
Thanks, will do!
Why do you not wear gloves. Would save scrapes and cuts.
I did towards the end of the video.
Great video brother, take time off if thats what you need. You do a good job with the content and your non stop commentary is awesome. Keep on rocking it out brother your doing a fine job!!
Thanks! Will do!
just because the keys were left in it doesn't mean you can get in and drive it out of there
🤭🤭🤭
I really enjoy your content man, I hope you decide to keep posting!
Thanks, will do!
You ain't no hiker if you can't make it down there, go some balls
Please post of video of you doing it! I would love to see it!!!!!
I liked when you showed the VIN decoding of the other car to show what year it was. That will only work (with the modern decoders) from 1981 and up when the 17-digit VIN became standard in the US. The early ones have to be done another way.
I sometimes show the vin numbers but I kinda think it might cause issues with law enforcement or something??
@@reverserockettv007 Leave out the last six digits. Those are unique to each vehicle.
@googleusergp Ok Thanks! I will do it for you on modern cars! I don’t mind showing older vintage cars because they are out of the system usually…
Also trim tags typically do not have VIN numbers at least in the case of GM vehicles.
I would think they would tow it out of there with all the a holes wanting to save the planet
Congrats man great video doing a great job that mustang ßure was messed up idk the year model but it had been a nice ride thanks for sharing your awesome adventures
Appreciate it!
is this guy dense? he has no idea what terrain is ahead. all i had to do was fast forward the video, and i could see the terrain

Fascinating footage and sublime surroundings. Well done Rocket. Regards Andy. UK 🇬🇧 🤘🏻
Glad you enjoyed it!
In fact I highly doubt they died. survival space of the driver is not compromised and they were wearing their belt!
30:23 there’s the owners manual lol
Its also a 100 percent it was stolen and they dumpted it in this cabyon!!!
Would it be correct to assume the mustang wreck was a fatality?
I think if he or she didn’t die then someone was badly injured!
1:01:39 that is probably some kind of car rim cover and its very old like 50's if that car was there then people died in becausa cars of that era are extremely unsafe
U shoud take a gold pan and test the dirt right there especially the bedrock
People take a few footsteps and are out of breath lol
@@D_Cali_Life 🤔
A Pair of needle nose pliers would be useful when walking in that type of terrain
Stuck in a river bed, it must have been a vehicle washed out and taken downstream. flashflood.
there's an old song about places like this.
- Dead man's curve
Your right!
I know yall seen those catalytic converters , bouta go cut them off😂
Ain’t worth the hike…
@@reverserockettv007 each cat is like 600$ bro definitely worth it😂😂
@@reverserockettv007 i hiked 4 miles down bob bear trail in az bro and 4 miles back up after swimming im sure itll be easy🫡
doesnt make sense that theres not dried blood everywhere in those cars
I know! I only seen blood once in a vehicle.
for those who don't want to see an hour and half of talk talk talk just to see the mustang..... here ya go ! 45:30
There are many other channels out there for you to watch….
Probably on his was to cars n coffee. Shame they lost the chance at a great exit fail video.
Just went down there from Temecula, my 300C skinny tires did ok, the 4 piston Brembos got their work in as well.
What kind of hippie boots were those?
Great content.
Makes me kind of angry when I see automotive plastic in natural settings.
It will be there for 1000 years or more.
Danner boot company.
But I no longer support the company.
Yea the fiat wasn’t damaged much.
It's amazing how they always get the bodies out of the car wrecks.
I found a vehicle cut open recently on the driver side it was really interesting.
I hiked the San Bernardino National Park and found haof a dozen burned out crashed cars from all eras. Wild stuff.
What year?
The silver happened 8/28/24
And the black car happened 10/20/21... crazy...gotta slow down around those curves😢
How do you know these details?
Hi you should check te gauges if they shows a speed that he crashes at
Could you find out who it was by the Vin number or tax records, licence plates?? God Bless them. It would be nice to do a little memoriam on them. IDk thats messed up.
So if you got time look through all the comments. Over 3 people have came forward saying they were the driver of the car….
