Snedecor Low Etude VIII (For Two Tubas)

- I've been trying to keep myself busy this summer with little projects that keep me in shape and playing a lot, this being one of them. This is a duet between Vol. I No. VIII and Vol. II Etude 8 from Phil Snedecor's "Low Etudes for Tuba" and "Low(er) Etudes for Tuba," respectively.
I've included music at the bottom of the screen to make it easier to follow along with what I'm playing. The tuba on the left is the top tuba part (Vol. I) and the tuba on the right is the bottom tuba part (Vol. II) (even though the "bottom" tuba part is written higher than the "top" tuba part a majority of the time). You can find both these etude books at pasmusic.com.

Thanks for saying that, made my day. I do want to make more videos, it’s just finding the time to make them (in school currently).
Hello, my friend. I think it would be a good idea to make a video of the exercises for good sound. Your audience, including me, admire your sound, and it would help us to improve our sound.
I never knew there was a duet for this etude! Great stuff!

Great playing! I was wondering what tuba do you use like brand and model? I’ve been interested in getting my own soon.

You should try out "The Jolly Farmer Goes to Town", its a piece I'm personally learning and think you would have fun with it. (if your willing to spend a little money on a random comment lol)
