    Thanks for the video it really helped, one tip for those doing the same thing, apply a small amount of anit-seize grease on the engine shaft in order to ensure it does not freeze onto the blade adapter from the rust build up.

    Short & sweet with all the necessary video shots. Great job!!
    Looks like you need to clean the carburetor,
    particularly the bolt that is at the bottom of the carb,
    that also has tiny holes and acts as a main jet.
    I was having the same issue, and just had to do that myself
    on a similar lawn mower that I just bought for $25 to get it to start and run smoothly.

    exactly the same pulley & guide bracket on my Yardworks mower. I watched the first three minutes of your video and fixed my "jumped" drive belt in 45 secs. Thanks.

    Just replaced the drive belt in our Craftsman front wheel drive mower. and the power drive works like new! Our mower had one significant difference from the video. After removing the blade, the center spindle would not slide off. Instead, there was a belt drive that was held on by a single bolt. We removed the guide and the belt slipped on easily.🙂

      my center spindle wont' come off, doing some banging with liberal amounts of wd40. no seeing can't see a bolt to take off

    I've been reluctant to take this apart, now I'm OK with it. I have to investigate why only 1 wheel spins and the other does not....TY and subscribed.

    Great video. It was really helpful. Do you have a video that shows how to adjust or replace the drive control cable for the same Craftman mower? The tension on mine isn't tight enough.

    • @donpatton1246
      @donpatton1246 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      near your drive engage handle there should be a piece of the cable that you just rotate....one way increases tension and the other loosens....too loose and you want go anywhere. too tight and it will be full speed

    Are you kidding..this is ridiculous..you take one engine mounting bolt off and and the other belt guard comes off..No need to deal with blades of blade adapters!
