Thank you very much. I was replacing the drive cable but while the cover was off decided to replace the belt too. The only hiccup I ran into was not having a square 3mm bit (hex didn't work) just ran to AutoZone and got one and finished the job.
Interesting enngineering why Toro decided to use square head screws to hold down the transmission belt cover. Also I see you removed the engine bolts to remove the belt guard. DIY'ers be careful because the sometimes the head of the engine bolt will snap off.
