Dude thank you so much. I just had the exact same problem with my flame - it worked just fine until I put the door back on! Your video led me to realize that my concentric vent had come loose on the outside of the house. That's all it took to disturb the flame and trip the rollout switch.

This video saved me an expensive furnace repair - while the furnance guy was here he was saying the exchanger was cracked/etc - I found this video - turns out the vent pipe barely separated on the inside on one side, blowing the flame on the flame sensor chamber OUT

Nice catch. Thats the kinda thing that can send a tech down a rabbit hole trying to pin it down!

Another way to check get a telescoping alligator clip stick a match on it lite it put in exchanger tube turn on fan blower only match flutters goes out that chamber is cracked. Just another way to check.

I got one, high effiency up flow; intermittent flame; not less than a half nanosecond second every one minute .
Had old, bad gas meter .
    Changing pressure switch.
    Wish me luck.
Clinet is ass in a half.
    Thanks for your videos.

Good one, my first thought was heat exchanger.

Looked like it was rolling out. Except The flame looks to roll out before the blower starts. It’s why I kept looking for other causes

what caused that duct to shrink/open? I bet there's an underlying issue, like short cycling from lack of airflow banging the high limit or restricted exhaust. it may be right on the verge of not closing a pressure switch and banging high limit, cooking the pipe.

I've seen this before when there was the total opposite situation. When there was an obstruction (beehive) in the exhaust pipe, it also caused a major flame rollout and flame cutoff and back on sporadically. Take the exhaust pipe off and the flame went back to perfect operation. th-cam.com/video/yvcPcisVKDw/w-d-xo.html
