The reverse legs AC pilot refers to the player as one of Handler Walter's hounds, maybe we'll be called Hounds this time around? It also appears that we're already Human Plus given we have a number instead of a name.
In ac games you freely choose your name. Always have so you will still have a name for your pilot. What they said in trailerr was more like a identification number then a name
In terms of the core essential features of the game, the game has always, and in every title without fail, had aiming as a part of the game, whereby locks can be broken, allowing for a variety of tactics and skills to be learned. Most prominently is flanking. Being able to break the lock, by at a bare minimum, going off screen, forcing your enemy to find you in 3 dimensions, has *always* been a part of this game to one degree or another (sometimes easier, sometimes harder, depending on the generation and title). But NOW, with no way to break a lock (if we understand the developers correctly with this Souls permalock) that entire aspect of the game is gone.
The two mechs at the climb the wall sequence are colored differently ........the gen 4 ac is blueish purple and the other one is a stock colour ......you said they weren't
They really showcase the number of options seen in all previous numbered titles, this is an AC game through and through and they want us to know it.
The scaled down AF is obviously a tutorial boss.
That's what I'm thinking too
"Heh, Lapdog."
Im hella excited for this game. And youve made some great observations

They love giving us options.
