    What is the reason my tulsi of 6months in iowa, USA has its leaves darkened and falling quickly. The new leaves come out healthy, but they turn dark and then fall. I have placed her near the sunny window and give uv light in addition for 8-10 hours a day. Please advise. Namaste.

    • @live4luvingnatur1809
      @live4luvingnatur1809  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, Normaly tulsi plant at winter times goes to dormency stage... It is a kind of sleeping time for the plant. It looses leaves and it won't grow.. Since you are providing uv light regularly to it, That's why it is getting new leaves. About colour chainging I can't guess exactly what it would be without seeing the plant photo. Are you providing any liquid fertilisers to it??. If not please provide some herbal tees . Some times lack of nitrogen in the soil also be a reason for this problem.

    Hello Sandhya. I just brought a Tulsi plant from India which my mother grew for me to be brought to Germany. The Tulsi plant is still very small. How do I take care of it now? Should I keep it on the window sill where it gets sunlight from afternoon till sunset? Or keep it completely in the shade and in a room which has heater?

    • @live4luvingnatur1809
      @live4luvingnatur1809  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      after transplanting keep it in a well ventilated place for one week, then slowly interduce the indirect sun for example first day one hour second day 2 hours like that way gradually increase the sunlight. Till end of march you should manage incide the home them you you can interduce direct sunlight to your tulsi based on the temperature out side. Tulsi can sustain a minimum temperature up to 10°c (day and night)

      Further to our conversation, my Tulsi plant is growing very slowly, till now only 2 new leaves have come out. But I'm losing the old leaves. They're becoming black and falling off. What should I do?
      I'm watering the plant when the soil is dry, which is every 2 days.
      Also I'm keeping it sunlight inside the house, through the window. Should I put it in the balcony, directly in the sun?

      in a flowerpot 1st layer add litte blumenerde then add fresh brennessel leaves then add blumenerde on top of the leaves in this way you give enough nitrogen to the .for reference, you can check the below video soil.th-cam.com/video/6jcuwJOI6GM/w-d-xo.html
