Extremely good information regarding the care of Tulasi. What I have been facing is the plant I grow do not grow fully. And frequently I change the plant. On the other hand, tulasi grows extremely well in other pots on their own and I had to remove them frequently to save my other plants. In fact on my terrace almost every pot I find Tulasi some time or the other and over shadows the existing plant in it. Problem may be, because of home composting also.

And in current condition it is something like a very long stem which don't have any leaves & branches but from top it is bushy. Please tell me how can I improve it from bottom also.
