Well presented. You have covered all the important points to keep in mind while tending the Tulsi plant.
A small tip I would like to share. If you take cuttings from the plant and place them in a jar of water, roots will grow in a few weeks. These can then be planted in soil and kept in shade until they have weathered the stress of the potting.

@@Voiceofplant mam I plant a "hunt cutting" for ficus plant 2 months back and give that pot "Pollyhouse" look covering plant by poly bag, after 3 week it's start new leaves. There after I removed poly bag and now I saw that cutting all new leaves are dropped. Plant is placed in semishade area. Can you please suggest what should I do?
