    Loved it, the only good video on tulsi winter care I found on TH-cam. Love your English (mine is very bad 😂) but you may want to say OK less times. Thank you

    Thank you for the wonderful tips. The tips are very helpful as I live in Perth. I have practically killed my tulsi plants and now waiting to make new plants. Please can you advise when is the best time to start making seedlings in the southern hemisphere? Thanks so much!

    Should we grow Tulsi plant if we don't get any sunlight? Can it grow under or next to a light?

      That's a good question & the answer depends on if you're novice gardener or an experienced gardener. If you're just starting out and very new to gardening, I would recommend not jumping into planting a tulsi plant as your first plant if your region doesn't get sufficient sunlight. However, once you get some more experience & understand the light, sun, nutrient combination & can work this to your plant's advantage, you can grow a tulsi plant almost anywhere. You can create a microclimate for your tulsi plant using gro lights at the right distance to give it the right light and intensity combination. I've seen a lot of people grow healthy tulsi plants indoors, even though it's an outdoor plant. Hope this helps.

    Hi how can I get this plant

    • @urbanhobbygardener9988
      @urbanhobbygardener9988  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for your question. If any of your friends have this plant, you can propogate Tulsi from seed or via a cutting. Otherwise, a number of nurseries, (outside of India as well), sell this plant as a small seedling under the name of Tulsi, Tulasi or Holy Basil. A third option is to enquire at any temples in your city. Most will have a Tulsi plant, which they may be happy to give you a cutting from. Hope this helps. Please reach out if you have any more questions.

      I don't use frost blankets for my plants. Although, your local garden centre or nursery should be able to suggest some good local options for you.

    In Canada how to buy a tulsi plant ???
    Did u have any address???

      @urbanhobbygardener9988  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am not in Canada.
      But in my part of the world - we share Tulsi plants amongst friends & more recently it's been available in selected Indian stores as well. Some temples may have some to share too. So, maybe you can try similar avenues where you're based.
