my mind is blown, cannot believe thats a 125. and a Vtwin! the engineering to produce such a small V twin that actually produces any torque is not as easy as it sounds. fair play to them for taking the risk bringing it over here, its not cheap for a chinese brand but its visually more appealing than most other bikes in its class.
I so wish 125s looked like that when I was 17. The Chinese certainly know how to style a bike. Quality looks good. How it would fair through the winter though. Those black exhausts will turn to crude in no time. You're brave riding a bike called Aquilla in your neck of the woods. Used to be a MC patched club called that years ago! 👍
That's OK, any trouble with them then I'll duff them up. It's a Korean made bike mate. The finish is very acceptable compared to some Chinese stuff and if it's looked after then it will be fine. If left outside in the rain (most likely with the young riders) then it will rust. It's a good bike 👍🍻🏍️
@@exeterrider Korean eh? Well their cars seem half decent with good warranties. Yeah, there's nothing magical mate. Even hondas need looking after. Look forward to further reviews.
TIL a Hoisin Gilamonster travelling at 40mph can easily keep up with a Honda NC750X (cue choir of angels) also travelling at 40mph.... Excellent review of a very nice bike! Bring on a 300 to 600 cc version.
Being an admirer of the new Honda Rebel, I love the bike's look although I wish they would have toned down the graphics. Unfortunately, we'll probably never see this bike over here in the US because of its low displacement. I understand our western culture of wanting our bikes to be big and bad, but when you've got to commute in congested traffic a flickable bike like this or even a scooter makes more sense. Sadly, few retailers here want to carry such options unless it's a novelty item like a Grom and I'm not going there. Keep up the great reviews.
This looks like a great bike. Question though, would you recommend it for someone who’s 6’3? I don’t particularly want to be riding around with my knees in my chest, lol.
Hi, on balence I think all bikes are not really built for people 6 foot and over. That being said, yes I think it would suit your height compared to many other bikes in the 125 class👍🍻
Looking forward to your other 125cc reviews. Most people seem to do reviews on all the 'top of the range' big bikes. And, although I enjoy these, I, also, enjoy reviews on the small and mid-capacity bikes. BTW, I think the reason the mirrors on your NC750 are giving you vibration problems is that they are, I think, aftermarket folding ones. the originals are very good, with no vibration - well the ones on my NC are, anyway.
Yes mate they are aftermarket that I bought for my grom. I needed folding ones to get past the car in the drive. It's a tight fit. Very useful but wobble too much. I still have the stock ones but just not suited to get to g the bike packed away. I hope to do more 125 stuff in the future👍
It's not bad at all. I'm looking for a cruiser between 250 and 500cc. Any chance of reviewing the 250 version 😏😏 (or the 300s but I think that's not available in UK now)
Personaly i couldnt fault the bike. It had plenty of tork for a 125, smooth great handling, only gripe with the bike was my legs ached after a few hours with the low seat hight making my legs cramped, apart from from that for a 125 it was great..
@@treetopsleeper anytime mate, the hyosung was a good bike but dealership network is dismal. I guess you don't have a full licence.... If you did then I'd say lol at the meteor 350👍
My advice would be really is the Keeway and certinly the Hyosung, Parts are almost impossible to get ....I know its not the same but save your money and you have more chance of getting parts if you go for something like a Lexmoto Michigan , its cheap and good enough to tie you over, goodish dealer network, and parts are ok to an extent but a lot better than the headaches you will get with hyosung etc. Well donr for getting back on, its a life changer just owning a bike let alone riding them....Enjoy! and let me know what you get in the end.
it looks nice, but it looks like a bigger bike like a 500cc or something, not that it's bad but it sounds like a 125cc :) but all smart people own at least one 125cc since they are so uncomplicated to own and do most duties just fine :)...I ride the Monkey as soon the weather is okay :)
Trying to read between the lines on that one mate... You don't like it then? Fair enough of you dont. I quote like it considering its a 125cc. Good first bike for someone. Very honda rebel isn't it.
Thanks for this review. I have been away from motorbikes for many years . But always follow the biking world . As a very short person 5'4" 28" short inside leg , i think this would suit me ? 40-50 mph on country roads would fit my style. My only question would be would this work 2up at very calm speeds? Looking out for any further thoughts.
Hi, With our inside leg measurements this would be perfect....40-50MPH riding yes easy and pillion riding is fine at chilled speeds although the seat will get uncomfortable after a while for your pillion.
Go back to mid 60's and Japan did the same copying nothing inventive but quality was good, mainly as the US pumped lots of dollars so that Japan could start with brand new machinery following the war.
I would avoid keeway and sinnis. I was debating between the Aquila and a Yamaha XVS 125. Ended up going for the XVS 125 as it’s a very nice looking bike, is a reliable brand and is likely to retain its value over time!
I understand where your coming from Ben, but Keeway for example I know many people who have put thousands of miles on them with no problems. But granted if you have the money then yamaha 225s are good👍🍻

Yes I think they sell them at Exeter quads don't they? They do seem good but I am a bit sceptical till I try one. They seem to have KTM DNA running through them but with a different engine it seems. Yeap not bad is it. It's a Korean brand. More on that in the full review. I tried to pick fault with it but it honestly is a well made bit of kit.
I love small twins, reminds me of my youth.

Great looker for a 125 well done Hyosung. Wouldn't it be nice if Hyosung did the same looking bike in a 500cc.
Did you know they make a 300? I have a review on here 👍
Had a 125cc scrambler with Timsun, rode in wet/dry/greenlanes, no problems at all for a nylon tyre
They are pretty good army they 👍🍻💯
What a great looking bike. Where was that at the start of your video. May pop down their. Great video again mate. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Cheers mate, double locks👍🍻
Thanks may pop down over the weekend what a lovely area.

I have a question for the people who one this bike for a year or longer. Have you had any problems with the bike? And is it worth the price?
