-still more heavily edited than most other channel's ten-minute videos
This is great video-making as much as it is great woodworking, really very impressive...

I keep thinking, this is so much work, there has to be a simpler way. But other than trying to do it sloppily, I can't think of a way. I'd probably just make the ends square myself!

I was thinking of steam-bending for the round corners. Any obstacles you foresee ? (too tight radius, too thick planks).
BTW Marius, really nice result in the end and I appreciate the sharing of your thought process (same for you Matthias I follow your channel for this reason).

Throughout the video I was like, "I really like his editing"! Then at the end you talk about how long it took to finish the editing, well worth it.
Really like the shelf and watching how you came up with ways to overcome obstacles in making it. Love it!

What an amazing young man you are. I love your work and I love your ability to figure out how to solve your problems. You definitely went above and way beyond my expectations. My wife asked if I could make something similar. I'm afraid any similarity would be pure luck. Not only your woodwork impressed me, your editing skills certainly deserve a pat on the back. Congratulations on a job very well done. My only complaint would be that I'm sure we'll quickly lose you from TH-cam, the same time as start your own business. All the best to you and thank you for showing me your skills.

Marius, you never cease to amaze us with your engineering skills, craftsmanship and creativity. Thank you for walking us through your problem-solving process. It's very helpful to watch you tackle complex problems and we appreciate your explanation of each step. You've inspired us once again to strive for precision and to carefully plan the build yet always remain open to even better ways to accomplish every task as you prepare for and test each process.
We're very pleased that your PantoRouter made it possible to safely and accurately cut mortises in your curved shelf ends. We love seeing woodworkers all over the world using their PantoRouters in ways we hadn't thought of. We consider the factory-supplied templates as just a starting point and encourage PantoRouter owners to find creative ways to make joinery that might not be possible with other tools. Your mortises are an elegant example.

Marius , you are a excellent young craftsman, I am not sure if you have joined a guild yet but think you should consider it, they will help open up a lot of opportunities to expand your knowledge and make others aware of your work. But I guess with the internet that has become more and more a moot point . The fun part of doing all this exacting work is to see what Mother Nature decides after a few seasons of humidity swings. I do think your video production is well paced and filmed great job on that also.

Inspiring, educational, humorous and overall when you share your „learning opportunities“ it displays a real humility that anyone who works with wood can surely relate to. I know I can. Thanks again for a great video.

I think Marius might be a magician or his shop is haunted.

I’ve made the same “mistake” before in making something the hard way and there was definitely a faster and simpler way but after all the grief I’ve looked back at it and thought that I’m glad I did it that way.
Top work Marius, you must be very proud.

Amazing! This is the most complicated piece of woodworking that has ever been created. The complexity and detailed tooling, jigs, and the complex joints are hidden by the simplicity and the elegance of this piece of art. Really fun to watch. Thank you for sharing. Peace.
