The "Nero telling his kids stories about Dante" is actually kinda interesting, but I think it's pretty much confirmed the reason Dante has Nero's VA is because Rueben is gone, and they had Johnny on hand and thought "Yeah, sure"

I would love nero to be the new DMC "Main protagonist"
Theres not much to say about dante now , he resolve his trauma by being disconnected
But nero faces his fear and all , i think he is the one to have the potential carry the most theme among them all

I would love that, too! The way the story has gone so far, Nero has so much potential to be something really great. I wouldn't mind seeing the brothers again at some point, but seeing as how Reuben Langdon is apparently done with acting it might be weird to see Dante with yet another voice actor - OddballEA (Elijah)
