      They are really awesome, I wish I had done this tank a year ago! Huge improvement over standard wave makers in my opinion....more efficient, much improved even flow and circulation of water throughout the tank hands down.

      They are really awesome, amazing amount of even flow over the standard wavemakers. Well worth it! 👍

    Its a good wave maker not ideal if you have plants tho
    Pros
    Great flow
    Super quiet
    Great price
    Cons
    The fins of the fan can be fragile

    • @Jetblink619
      @Jetblink619  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Correct, I wouldn’t recommend or use wavemakers in planted tanks.

      Fake plants though?

    • @CCCOILS.UK1
      @CCCOILS.UK1 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@snapnacker some fake plants can be pulled out or dug up and float just like real ones
      I can show you the damage that foreign objects in a wave maker can do to the impellers
      I've ran the above wave maker in fresh water and marine systems
      Great bits of kit till something gets in the cages

    Hey I just bought this wave maker because of this video just wondering if you leave it on 24hrs a day or what’s your schedule thank

    • @Jetblink619
      @Jetblink619  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I personally leave it on 24/7, however....you can also put it on a timer and have it off say for night time for example.

    Awesome, I’m gonna look into one for my 210 just like yours. Which hygger heaters do you have or recommend?

    • @Jetblink619
      @Jetblink619  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      These are the ones I’m buying these days. The 500W and 809W depending on what tank it’s for.
      The 800W is more than plenty to heat my 300.

      @@Jetblink619 which one for the 210? The 500 watt? I have 2 of the eheim jager 300 watts on it now, should I stick with those or try the hygger? I have an inkbird controller I could put on the eheims. Decisions decisions....

    • @Jetblink619
      @Jetblink619  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@greygoose117 honestly I would just go with the 800W and not have to worry about if you have enough heater. I have the 800W on my 210 as well.
      Better to have more heater than not enough.

    I have been eyeing this after seeing on The Cichlid Mix and watching your video confirmed it. I just ordered the SCP-150M WiFi version of this for my 180 gallon. Love your videos! I will be trying out the 3D background in your style for my tank soon. Do you have a Facebook I can follow?

      Thanks Jared, they are must have pumps IMO!
      I do not have a Facebook page for the fish stuff yet.
