Yeah. So the instructions are translated so poorly and so vague I thought “better TH-cam it” and life’s comedy delivers me this guy. A voice so awful (synthesized? Perhaps this is contraband? Lmao) I can’t bare to finish the video.
I’ve owned several of the SW line for the last 3 years. My biggest gripe with these is the “speed” does not effect either the else, or W2 modes which means either of those modes are going to peak at full intensity. I love else mode but sometimes it’s too much, would be nice to be able to run those modes and set a max intensity, hope that’s something Jebao will consider looking into on future models 👍🏼
Not sure if you got an answer, but it's wireless through some kind of radio signal. Put one controller on master and the other on slave. Hope this helps
The remotes are designed to operate at the same frequencies, allowing the remote to wirelessly control itself and all other connected pumps. Think of it as radio channels - when you assign a Master, it becomes your main channel; when you assign a Slave, it will repeat the main channel. But to simplify the answer, it works like WiFi - numerous devices on one setup network :).
Question. I just got the SOW-4 Pump. I need it to simulate a river like flow for the Plecos I breed. I just want it on a continuous like flow. I have it on H. However, the power ramps up in a cycle type mode. I just want constant. Any suggestions?
I did have it in H Mode. It would flow.....then after a few seconds it would increase a lot in flow.... not constant. Weird. Not a lot of support through the company or customer service.
Lock your Master, then the night mode should stay on and automatically work as per your light sensor. If you are only working with one remote, the night mode should not switch off unless you manually switch the function off.
If you are controlling the pumps individually, you need both remotes. However, if one is assigned the Master and the other one the Slave, you only use the one remote. Regardless, all remotes have to be installed, enabling all pumps to be controlled wirelessly by employing one Master. I hope that answers your question.
when i set 2 pump on C (master and slave) they sync but after some hours they are totally out of sync.. any idea? I bought pump yesterday they are new..
Hello my friend, i bought everytihg for my fish tank, but the jeabao wave maker is to much, too strong, and it always moves the aragonite, is there any trick? thank you for the tutorial
Depends on the size of your tank and the species you use, also if you want to simulate a specific environment. Example, fish and coral are quite happy with the "Else" mode as it allows for variability, which is what you would expect in reef-like environments.
Yes, and it works really well. It is quite sensitive though, so might turn on night mode earlier than you anticipate but also switch off earlier in the mornings, depending on seasonality and where you stay and keep your tanks.
2 questions Ming, can the exterior part of the magnet be submerged too? For example for use in a sump. Also, how many pumps can be paired in master-slave mode? Can there be 2 or 3 slaves and will this work as master and slave for Cross Flow Jebao/Jecod? Thanks in advance! This video is a great help to a lot of potential Jebao users.
hi , the C mode doesn't work correctly , after time The two pumps do not work at the same time intervals , their cycles overlap , I tested four pumps ! They work just the fastest mode
I've experienced the same issue. They work fine for a little while then they lose sync and just work randomly. I have two SW4 in my tank and one is on Else and the other W1.
I have a cube reef that is around 7 gallons, so just a little more volume than yours and just set it up today. It has a great amount of range as far as power goes and have it set on 3 right now. It should work great for ya.
How can I reduce the intensity of the pump on else mode? When I run master slave on else mode the intensity is too much and reducing the speed or shifting to max pump instead of flow doesn’t reduce it.
I bet this guy does a killer hermit the frog impression.
I was thinking he'd be a better a Fozzie Bear impersonator.
Lol
hes already doing it
Yooooooo. I was trying to think who this guy sounded like

Reisings Reef agreed. Sucks that these modes ignore max power setting. I like random (OW-10) but it blows like a much larger pump.
Great video man! Much clearer than the instructions that come with it
We try our best!
My instructions came in ONLY an Asian language - no English at all. For such a good wave maker, you'd think they'd spring for a proper manual!
your the man, videos plain and simple and straight to the point. sweet
Hans Gruber lives!!!! Thanks for the great video.
Awesome tutorial man, I was given 2 without instruction books from a friend, this was perfect
great instructions used it to set up my wavemaker. and have returned to them several times to check or change settings.
If you set 1 as master and 3 as slave, does pressing feed mode on one controller turn al pumps into feed mode?
How do you physically connect the second pump for a master/slave setup? Nothing in instructions indicate how to do this.
Thank you, this helps. How can I turn off the pump without unplugging?
Great straight forward instructional video - thanks!
Hi. If you have 2 pumps, do you have to have both controllers plugged in?
Or do two pumps get connected to one controller?
Not sure if you got an answer, but it's wireless through some kind of radio signal. Put one controller on master and the other on slave. Hope this helps
@@antonior6194 Cheers, makes perfect sense.
@@modotd3885 I have a 45 gallon long. Will be setting up a reed tank. Do I need two of these?
Wonderful tutorial thank you!
great tutorial. will be saving this for replay for when my unit arrives.
Great video, straight n to the point!
Hi how does the other pump know it’s a slave?? Do the remotes communicate to one another??
The remotes are designed to operate at the same frequencies, allowing the remote to wirelessly control itself and all other connected pumps. Think of it as radio channels - when you assign a Master, it becomes your main channel; when you assign a Slave, it will repeat the main channel. Love these pumps. I only wish the night mode was automatic
Thanks for the explanation. This helped!
These look pretty cool.
Thanks.
No problem! Glad you enjoyed it!
How do you unlock the pump after locking it?
How to turn off the pump or pause for more than 10 minutes?
Thanks for the tutorial mate.. helped alot :)
What Jebao pump size do i need for a 30 galon tank? ow10 or ow25?
Useful information 👍🏻

@@Ourfrenchiegirls Thats def weird.
Hi! What is the difference between OW and SOW?
Great video
Thanks!
If you leave it in night mode constantly will it slow down automatically at night? Or do you need to press it every day?
Lock your Master, then the night mode should stay on and automatically work as per your light sensor. If you are only working with one remote, the night mode should not switch off unless you manually switch the function off.
@@tanjahanekom30 nice one thanks for that
@Tanja Hanekom is it best to have the control panel out in the open then? It won't work sitting under the aquarium will it?
Also do both remotes need to be used for each pump? Or only one remote??
If you are controlling the pumps individually, you need both remotes. However, if one is assigned the Master and the other one the Slave, you only use the one remote. Regardless, all remotes have to be installed, enabling all pumps to be controlled wirelessly by employing one Master. I hope that answers your question.
A couple of the options usage's are incorrect and if there is a next time try having the propeller pointing at the camera
How to choose the pump power
For example I have 5x2x2 aquarium so how much capacity power should I buy
Thanks very helpful! The instructions that came with the pump are not great
How does the light sensor work?
when i set 2 pump on C (master and slave) they sync but after some hours they are totally out of sync.. any idea? I bought pump yesterday they are new..
How do i Control 4 pumps - 2 turn on while other 2 off, to make a sync and anti sync flow? Becaus it will be 2 master and 2 slave... wireless
The controller is flashing blue lights (speed) and the pump wont work. Anyone know why?
Very helpful.
I have only one pump so which mode should I use for my tank
Hello my friend, i bought everytihg for my fish tank, but the jeabao wave maker is to much, too strong, and it always moves the aragonite, is there any trick? thank you for the tutorial
What is the normal wave sir for the tank
What’s mode do I want on the slw 20 in a nano reef
🤣
How do you set up the second slave pump? I assume it's wireless, how do you marry them?
Which mode are better to use?
Depends on the size of your tank and the species you use, also if you want to simulate a specific environment. Example, fish and coral are quite happy with the "Else" mode as it allows for variability, which is what you would expect in reef-like environments.
@@tanjahanekom30 thank you bro😊
Is the light sensor the thing that sets the pump to night mode?
Yes, and it works really well. It is quite sensitive though, so might turn on night mode earlier than you anticipate but also switch off earlier in the mornings, depending on seasonality and where you stay and keep your tanks.
So does the knob control the pump speed, or does the 'Speed' button control pump speed?
The knob seems to control how fast it pulses, and i think clicking the speed/feed button changes the power behind each pulse.
at what distance can the master controller and slave controller work apart?
qual dos modelos você acha que tem melhor qualidade e durabilidade?
SW ou OW
My WiFi on controller is not working on my other controller?
Can this controller replace the one that came with the SW2 model?

Great video no offense reminded me of cookie from the black cauldron
How do I make turn on and off intermittently please
Mode 1 does that but seems dangerous to me. Mode 2 keeps spinning at various speeds

what mode if only use 1 wavemaker my tank??
Nice but u usefull for who can read the paper.but what be usefull is explication about the different mode and what they do and when to use
Where can I find info on the new ow pumps? Things like GPH
Hi Jason! The OW series have the same flow rate as the SW series wavemakers.
can I use only one jebao8 in 4 ft tank?
What does sine mode do?
Tudo que procuro é dicas sobre essa bomba, pena que não acho no meu idioma
Hi, how many "slaves" can run with one master?
Hello! One master pump can run 7 slave pumps.
Ming Trading LLC thx!!!
I actually got my Master to run 9 slaves very successfully, set up in series.
Sounded really loud? I thought they were supposed to be quiet
I just got mine and its very quiet
I have jebao wave makers for over 5 years..pp series and sw series..they are quieter than EcoTech quiet drive mp 40/60..
Has anyone had experience with the ow10 in a pico tank of 24 L

What is Wi-Le, can’t see it and u didn’t cover it. Nor did u say how the hell a second pump or more are connected….geeshhhh

Andrew Lam probably in lock mode. Long press button 3.
