What is the difference between pulse and cross-flow in the classic wave mode.
Thanks, this was a big clue for me! I've been trying to figure out how to ramp up speed over time. slow in the morning then ramp up to faster by mid-day then back down again.
While I still can't do a slow ramping, at least I can program the speed day vs night.

Hi, do you mind share what you did with the jebao mcp120? Just bought it and very struggle to use the app. I followed the instructions on the manual book but no luck. The problem I can see in mine was the jebao wifi turn off automatically when just started to connect. Thanks in advance
@@leodarmawan1677 The app is really not user friendly, I installed on my old iphone5se and could never get it to connect, I read all over the net how it needs wifi 2.4 So i figured I was out of luck. my son has iphone 12 so I had him install it on his phone, it connected the pump and my doser no problem😲. He used my account so I was then able to use the app with my iphone 5 🙃🤣
@@spicyreef Hi mate, yeah I think the wifi router must be 2.4 not 5G. I must change the setting of my router I think. Thanks mate
In previous versions, the else mode did not respect the speed and just operated at max speed. Is this fixed in this version?
I bought the new MCP version thinking they would surely have this worked out... But they don't. Still fluctuates at max speed in else mode.

You really need to include instructions on how to set it up with the controller shown in the video and not the old controller.
Will the Jebao SCP and MCP series notify you on the app if the pump stops working for whatever reason? I'm wondering as I'm planning to you this for aeration, but I'm wondering what if the wavemaker stops working when I am not home, but the power still runs? How would I know?

You can but I’m not aware of any situation that you would need this much flow for a freshwater aquarium, unless you have a massive tank. These move a TON of water

@@mingtrading7542 I finally found it but man the app is bad. I was just trying to sync two but the slave never really does what it's supposed to. Why can't you crossflow the sine mode?
