Secondly, when they first meet with resistance, Thermal sights have a high percentage of playing a part. Even more, Counter-snipers with thermal optics can kill them if they linger and the enemy has a hint as to where they are firing on. So, they have to run, unless they are cut-off, which is near impossible.
@Tweakisher i know, that's what i mentioned earlier, if they meet up with heavy resistance, THEN the UAV comes in, if they meet with light resistance, might as well fight it off like any other soldier. That's why SMG or assault rifle.

What's the cost of using a few bullets and a rifle compared to a UAV, fuel, missiles and manpower wasted to control it. Of course it would be better for the snipers to fight back. This is what every soldier is trained for. Sniping is never a safe job. And talking about battlefield, everywhere is the battlefield.
To be a sniper, u'll have to embrace the notion of "administering summary execution"; as the Executioner.. In layman terms, u must be able to kill a person comfortably, as u would killing an ant crawling up ur sleeves..
It's not a m24. It's similar to the awsm , firing ammunition of 338 Laupa magnum. We use several different type of bolt action sniper rifle that fire 338 Laupa magnum cartridges . For semi automatic ones we are using the dragunov svd and the HK PSG 1

this is so boorish,one shot one kill? a 7.62 round does not always kill their enemy in sucession just by a shot. The first shot is to always to neutralize the enemy in the CENTER MASS as it has a huge target area. Snipers does not aim at heads, contrary to popular tales as it takes longer time to gain target aqqusition, hence normally two rounds or more is needed to put down the enemy.
