Traveling back in time….I originally purchased the Logitech Combo Touch for my M1 12.9 iPad Pro. Now moving forward, my Logitech Combo Touch keyboard started to malfunction. The letters wore off of some of the well-worn keys. I do use the keyboard a lot. Also, the rubber along the corners of the Logitech Combo Touch bent outward and formed loops. The volume rubber also bent away. So I bought an Apple Magic Keyboard and haven’t looked back. I love it! ❤
THANK YOU! My biggest concern was having to touch the keys when I want to fold back the case and hold the iPad. That made the combo touch the immediate winner for me!
Your answer is in your question. ‘Good feature’ means different to different manufacturers. Apple focused on the floating experience more. Some may like apple’s magic keyboard’s click sound, other might not. That brings me to point number 2. Good feature to one user might not be one for another user. So someone always will be left out.
You are literally the first person I hear saying that you’re disappointed for Logitech not including the strap for the apple pencil and I couldn’t agree with you more!! I have the combo touch and love it. I like the feel of the keys when typing. And I'm so used to having the top rows of extra keys on the keyboard and I would miss that in the magic keyboard. And I LOVE the detachable keyboard. I create art and that's the main reason I purchased it. But now I'm using it for Adobe and Affinity apps and it works great. I've never used a magic keyboard but I like the combo enough not to think I'm missing something.

I just bought an iPad Pro and I was dead set on buying the Magic Keyboard. However, the store that I went to had the Combo Touch on stock, so for some reason, I decided to buy it last minute instead. I do not regret it at all. I thought that it would be less immersive because the tablet was not floating, but I don’t feel it. I also have more confidence when using and transporting the iPad because of the case. It also does not feel bulky or heavier than the magic keyboard. What I appreciate the most though is that the keyboard is detachable and that there’s a kickstand so I can use it in many orientations without the keyboard. I don’t regret getting this great product while saving money!
I had the Logitech Combo Touch for a year and recently sold it and got the Magic Keyboard. Here’s why. The way I use my iPad Pro has changed because I got the new 14” Macbook and the Logitech setup became too similar to the actual laptop and too big for me. I would prefer taking my computer and have that on my lap while writing on a couch or on a lap. Logitech is not very useable when you want to have it laid on you. Logitech keyboard is great when you have it spread out on a table. But then why not use a laptop. I realized I used the ipad more without the Logi keyboard just as a tablet in the past few months. So I switched and I use it way more on my lap now, sitting on a couch or in the bed with the keyboard when typing. It’s more portable and comfortable than laptop, yet I get a great quality keyboard. I can also just pick it up while open with one hand and move it aorund the house without the keyboard flapping around and loosing it’s type-ready shape. I also really enjoy taking it off the case and use it naked. After having the Combo Touch for a year, always on, I forgot how light the iPad actually is, which also changed how I use it a lot. I just hold it in my hand naked when consuming content. I was honestly tired of the way it’s difficult to open the Combo Touch and then the second step of spreading out the kickstand made me use it less. It’s those unconscious micro-decisions that made me not want to use the Combo Touch’s keyboard so often unless I knew I was going to sit behind a table. In which point I prefer Macbook. So in my opinion, Magic Keyboard makes the iPad more portable and table-y. You get the advantages you should get with having such light and portable device. With Logitech Combo Touch, iPad feels more like a computer. It is great, the keyboard is great, the weight is similar to Magic Keyboard, I would still highly recommend it, it just depends on your style of use. When you detach the keyboard you are left with a little bulky tablet with a kickstand. While it was useful to have the function keys and I really miss those, for my use, Magic Keyboard is a better choice now.
thanks for your input. You answered all my questions like the weight, connivence to take it on and off and comfort to use it on the lap or if we already have MacBook and we need a different device. So many reviews are lack of those points. They talk too much about functions and price.
Just bought the Combo Touch for my iPad Pro 11. I have never used the Magic Keyboard but I have used mechanical keyboards and I must say that I am very impressed by the typing feel of the Logitech. I'm not denying that the Magic Keyboard could be better, but what I'm saying that you most likely won't be disappointed if you got the Logitech. The material looks and feels really nice and solid without being boring. It looks more of an accessory than just a case. Also, thank you for actually typing words when doing the sound test. I absolutely HATE it when reviewers just mash the keyboard randomly for sound tests... when the hell am I going to press 10 keys at once? I don't type with my forehead!
I am a dedicated Logitech keyboard user. However, having said that I find that the Apple Magic keyboard is noisier and might bother a neighbor for instance in a library or a quiet location. Logitech’s customer support is outstanding and honest. I cannot comment on the Apple keyboard because I have never used it. I love the Logitech search key on the function key row that allows me for instance to tap the key, hit the Y key, and open TH-cam immediately. I do not know if the Apple keyboard has something like this. Great video as always.
I prefer the logitech CT over the apple MK, not because of price but due to the functionality, CT keyboard turns the iPad into a super computer also it helps us to use the iPad in different angles which helps us to multitask with media consumption, drawing, gaming, etc. If you are worried about style - go with the apple MK If you think to get the most out of the iPad - stick to Logitech CT. P.S - Please share your thoughts!!
This was a hard choice, but I ultimately went for the Magic Keyboard to use as a laptop. It’s sturdier, holds better on my lap, comes with a USB-C port and detaches smoothly when I switch cases, which I will get to. The only issue I have is the lack of function keys. I rarely used them on my previous laptops, but it’d still be nice to have that option. My second case, ESR Rebound Magnetic Case, is what I use for drawing and taking notes. I love how the clasp from the case protects my Apple Pencil whenever I carry my iPad around. I’m aware you can transform the Logitech Case from laptop to drawing, but, to me, it just seemed bulkier and doesn’t offer protection for my Pencil. There is no right or wrong answer between Magic Keyboard and Logitech as they are great products. It’s what fits in your lifestyle.
Great review and very helpful for making a decision between the two. I'm going with the Logi - more wrist rest, function keys, and much larger tilt degrees. I've never considered "wrist rest" until watching your review. 👍
I am really sure that there are a huge amount of people who attending those "why pay more" series saved up a huge amount of money and cane to a decision that is just right for them, great comparison, and keep it up!
I also have both the Combo Touch and Magic Keyboard. I like them both for different reasons. You did a really good job explaining the pros and cons of each product. For me, I really like typing while the Magic Keyboard is on my lap. This is something very had to do with the Logitech.
Tried them both a lot over the past two days. It’s the Combo Touch for me. Protection, plus can flip the keypad behind it with the keyboard facing inward like a book. Sold!
The big deciding factor is whether you want to be able to use the iPad naked, that is benefit of how light it is, or you want to keep it in the case all the time, because you are scared of dropping it... Extracting the iPad from the case is a pain, so if you want to use it naked the MK is a much better solution. Another factor is whether you want to use it on your lap or not. I have both keyboards and for my use case the MK is much better and I also definitely prefer the key feel. The trackpad is pretty similar...
Since i draw and use the apple pencil more than typing …i would need to remove the ipad from the case MK…. this is what worries me. That’s why i’m watching videos on keyboards.
I chose the Magic Keyboard for the 11” iPad Pro. Recently I replaced my 2017 10.5” iPad Pro, for which I had Apple’s Folio Keyboard. It is significantly lighter than the Magic Keyboard, and like the Magic Keyboard it provides no protection for the sides of the iPad-so I’ve dealt with that limitation. The Folio developed connectivity issues after about two years; I had replaced it once and the second one was failing. I wanted something that would be more substantial. (Apple seems to have addressed those connectivity issues with the smart connectors and magnets in the newer iPads.) The deciding factor was which keyboard would work best when I held the iPad in my lap as I do much of the time. The smaller footprint of the Magic Keyboard was the better choice. The Magic Keyboard is heavy! I like using it, but carrying the iPad with it is like carrying a laptop. As for the price, I was able to find a retailer that would match Amazon’s price.
I have no plans to buy an iPad pro but I'll admit, I watched the video just for the ASMR-y style of talking you got going. It's really relaxing to hear you walk through the entire process and experience, and you have such a digestable and light format to your reviews that it doesn't feel overwhelming with all the wild cuts and edits some reviewers have. I've read somewhere in your comments before and I just want to echo it again, it feels like I'm having a conversation with a buddy (You and Dave 2D have this very nice way about you'll). Keep up the amazing work sir 👍
I have the combo touch for the 12.9 and the magic for the 11. After using both, I lean more towards the magic keyboard because I use the iPad more with a lap or as a tablet, and it is far simpler to separate the iPad from the keyboard with the magic keyboard for quick tablet use on the table. Not saying the combo touch is not a good keyboard, but if the primary use is for on-table use, then it is a perfectly usable keyboard plus a protective case. It is more versatile in terms of angling, plus it offers the functions row. But if you primarily use it on top of the non-flat surfaces, small spaces, or your lap, then splurge a bit more, and you should not regret it.
I learned the hard way. Bought Apple one for the first generation iPad Pro and it fell out of my bag and now there’s 2 dents in the corner where it fell
For me the combo touch is magnificent! The fact that I can detach the keyboard, flip out the kickstand and prop it up on one knee to view is amazing but not only that but with it propped on my knee I can actually attach the keyboard and lay it out and I am typing this in that configuration right now and I can still lay back against my pillow without any issue and no wobble. For me that super comfy. I literally have the kickstand out maybe halfway out and propped on my one knee and got the keyboard attached to it laying slightly angled up and my hands are resting comfortably and having no issue. I guarantee that you cannot do that with the magic keyboard. For me this is how I use this keyboard and case setup and I am super comfy lol :D it works for me.
I still prefer the Magic Keyboard, mainly because of the elevation. It does stain easily and no Function Keys sucks, but the keys feel slightly better and the extra port comes in handy for me.
Unfortunately they don't offer it - but the Folio Touch is available. I also checked with Logitech and while the Air 4 will fit in the 11" combo touch, they said the holes in the bumper won't line up.
@4:32 🙏🏻 thanks for talking about this. I only use mine on my lap with a smart keyboard so can’t see how the Combo Touch would be better than the magic keyboard overall. 😃👍🏻

I have the iPad Air 5 and was originally reluctant to buy either and decided to go for the cheaper bluetooth option. After using the bluetooth keyboard for a couple of days, I decided to return it and bought the Logitech CT. It cost me £199 but was able to get it over 3 instalments interest free so not so bad. I'm more than happy with it and feel confident that my iPad is properly protected, unlike the MK. Great video btw.
Pros: Logitech - Protective Case Logitech - Extra Row of keys Logitech - Lower price Apple - Power Port on Keyboard frees up iPad port Apple - Can rest on your lap Apple - Can use any and every cable or hub attached to iPad port Apple - Better keys Apple - Better Touchpad Cons: Logitech - Protective Case restricts what cables you can use due to the opening for the iPad port is very narrow. Logitech - Protective Case eliminates the ability to use hubs that connect directly to the iPad Logitech - Cannot use on your lap at all, simply falls over. Logitech - Takes up more space then the footprint of the iPad Apple - No protection Apple - Costs a bit more For my use it's a no brainer and the Apple Magic Keyboard wins easily. I must be able to use it on my lap and when on my desk I want to be able to run power without taking up the iPad port. And, I must be able to use the accessories I want to use and not be limited to what will fit due to the a case being too narrow at the port. If Logitech fixes the above things I'll get one for sure, as I really do like Logitech products.
@@velezalonso Since I don't own the Combo Touch, I can only say I've seen videos from others who have adapters attached. I've also seen many where they show how many will not work with it. I have handled the Combo Touch, when I was comparing which one I wanted, and by far like the look, feel, benefits, and quality of the Magic Keyboard were superior. For me it's worth the extra $$ hands down.
Very good content.. just want to ask you think it’s ok for me to buy main apple device product but when it comes to accessories its better for me to choose other brands?
How is the combo touch holding up? Would you recommend it over the magic keyboard at the price? Does the caps lock button light up when in use? Thanks for the help!
Before I watch this video, my opinion is the magic keyboard is better because it takes up less space and has a charging port so you have the second port available if needed.
i initially bought the combo touch for school work with a 12.9 inch pro. but after using it just shy of a month with heavy use, i’m switching to the apple keyboard. The smaller footprint is a huge thing for me, on top of this the logitech keyboard has shown continuous and regular errors and glitches while being used, often requires g me to disconnect and reconnect the keyboard or turn the ipad on and off. It was surprising when i found these glitches were purely physical from the keyboard and not from the software of the ipad. At the end of the day while the logitech is more versatile and cheaper, its still £230, and thats still a lot of money, and if something at that price range is gonna start failing after just under a month i’m not gonna keep it around to see if it gets worse. Sure i may miss the function keys but they can be skipped with commands, touch gestures and the control centre, so its no huge biggie. The other problem was the bulk of the logitech. In handheld mode the ipad became heavy and unpleasant for longer periods of time, and i’ve found that i’m at the stage in which heavy protecting for my ipad is rarely required. That’s why i opted to also by a smart folio case. Since it is magnetic just like the keyboard it means i can use the ipad for drawing, watching movies/shows, reading in handheld with ease. This solution of buying two expensive products and ditching the cheaper logitch isn’t for everyone but i’ve learnt that ‘buy it nice or buy it twice’ is probably most true in the tech world, and at the end of the day its done wonders for me. If i’m gonna go on a plane i can leave the keyboard in my bag and just enjoy the flight with the thin, light smart folio. but if i’ve got to type up an essay it takes seconds to switch from ipad to laptop. And while it cost me a few extra bucks its the best decision i could have made for my ipad, as it has become significantly nicer, lighter and more efficient to use. both in the keyboard and the smart folio case.
Actually, I was looking for these kind of comments about product. It’s really important to see how will be user experience after long time use. Thnx for taking time to comment about that.
Believe or not i got the magic keyboard instead on the iPad Pro because the keys are real nice, it has a nice floating design, and it has a usb-c port.
Look, I loved the Logitech case. I got one for my first iPad and another one for the iPad Pro. But let me tell you. It’s not worth it. The edges in my first case, as well as the parts next to the speakers, started stretching out. I though this was because maybe I had accidentally pulled on them, so when I got the second case (hitch is even thinner around the edges) I made sure not to touch them. Still, I had the same exact problem. It’s gotten so bad that one of the edges actually broke, and its stretching out to the point of showing the Inter parts of the case. I got the Logitech keyboard for the cheaper price, kickstand, and very importantly, protection. But if the edges are breaking they might as well not be there. I also checked on Reddit, and this has happened to an extent to so many people. Its ridiculous that a product this expensive breaks within less than a year of purchase, and although I checked and it has warranty, a replacement unit would have the same issue. The case also completely stopped working after the iOS 16 update, and as a student I can’t afford to not be able to write for a week. If you’re on a budget a mouse and a Bluetooth keyboard works wonders. I’ve been using them and it’s incredibly comfortable. I do give points to Logitech in that they have been able to give me a refund, since it has a 2 year warranty, but that’s all I can say about it. The case was really really good while it lasted, but it has no longevity. 2/10
FYI, In Sept 2021, I purchased a very expensive new I pad Pro with Apple care ,as well as this exact Keyboard, from an Apple store. Two months later, the keyboard stopped working, I made an appt. at the "Genius Bar" and the guy wouldn't even try to diagnose the problem, because it was a Logitech Product. He told me I should call Logitech.
I will say that I am sorry I didn’t have the option of the Logitech 12.9 last year when I bought the 2020 iPad. Oh well, I am still happy with my Magic Keyboard.
Of these, the combo touch gets closer to the spirt of the iPad Pro. It at least gives you the option to use a keyboard in a position that would allow you to write or sketch notes. Any keyboard solution that doesn’t do this is inhibiting the very reason to get the device. I personally have a simple folio cover which I place at a 30 degree angle and a Bluetooth keyboard. I do math heavy work so sometimes I like to type and sometimes I like to use my stylus to clarify the math or draw a diagram. Is it a bit less portable? Yes, but both easily fit in a slim messenger bag.
I have been imagining a theoretical version of an iPad Pro case that would combine the best of these two, the stability of the magic keyboard but the flexibility/different use cases of it. Basically it’s the combo touch but the keyboard has an opening hinge similar to the magic keyboard, but is still removable. It would also have a slightly stronger hinge on the back for the stand (so it’s more stable when using keyboard and when you pull off the keyboard, also in the case of someone using it to take notes, it would support their hand better if they wanted it at a small angle), and should the latter work it’s a 50/50 on whether or not you would need the stronger opening hinge cause the back one could support it, but if you wanted to use it in a smaller footprint, then you would still need the opening hinge to keep it up but not take up as much space. Anyways I’m probably going to be getting the Combo Touch in a few months should I need it for school, and can’t wait to try it out
These videos are great, and thanks for uploading. However nobody seems to talk about the functions of the trackpad! Apple magic offers a set of features here, nothing is mentioned about the logitechs track in this regard
I get scared about the fact that the Logitech Combo Touch’s keyboard can be detached since in my mind, it makes it weaker since it’s just held by magnet. I also wish that the Logitech had a little flap to cover the Apple Pencil…
Same about the flap... don’t really know why they removed it, I’ve been using the Logitech for a week now, so far, the magnet is super strong, thought u cannot flip it more than 200 degrees or else it will detach, so far I don’t see the magnets getting weaker hopefully it doesn’t to lol
Great thank y oh. I just purchased you already helped me with showing me how I can remove the keyboard and attach to the back to hide the keys ..what about accessories for the I-pad
If you want to use the iPad for sketching or annotating by hand, the magic keyboard is useless because it doesn’t have a kickstand which allows you to get that low, almost flat angle. Also the Combo touch offers actual protection which the magic keyboard doesn’t.
except that if you need to take notes / sketch while standing or just in portrait, the logitech makes the ipad much heavier, and the MK is a better solution, since extracting the ipad from the logitech is a pain
The Logitech Combo Touch has only one USB-C port and the side one does not support many third party cables. No loop to stabilise the Magic Pencil is an unfortunate omission. The MK lacks a row of useful function keys. The your pick!
I think a great thing about the magic keyboard is the fact that any apple accessory you buy like Apple Pencil and magic keyboard will be protected if you have apple care for iPad. Many don’t know that.
If you travel on planes and need to type on small surfaces or maybe a small college desk: get the magic keyboard If you mostly stay at home and the footprint of the keyboard isn’t going to be an issue: than the Logitech will do just fine
I currently own the Microsoft Surface Go. The way the Logitech keyboard attaches to the case is verry similar. Looks like I will go with the Logitech for the 11" iPad Pro I just bought to replace the Surface Go since I'm already familiar with that style of keyboard and hinge setup.
@@Redridge07 I love it! I can't believe it took me this long to get an iPad! The performance and battery life are amazing on the iPad vs the Surface Go.

@Tech Gear Talk Great review as always. May I ask if it is easy or hard to switch the iPad on and off with the Logitech Combo Touch? I ask as I find the Logitech Slim Folio Pro extremely difficult and very awkward to turn the iPad on and off, having to press the covered buttons extremely hard. Thanks in advance for your reply.
I really want the magic keyboard in white🔥 but my mind just cant swallow the price tag it is just too much considering how much room for improvement there is on the magic keyboard
For me combo touch two finger tap for right click did not work well when I RDP Mac or Windows or in some of the applications it did not work at all. So I returned it and got apple magic keyboard. I found apple magic keyboard is better with trackpad and keyboard design and responsiveness. Worth the extra cost. but without protective case is only the disappointment with this.
No one addresses the material quality on the Combo touch....at the start is awesome but after a year the material starts degrading fast, and the rubber gets deformed and warps.
@@TechGearTalk Yes, that is a nice feature on the newer model. I tried it with mine and unfortunately it doesn’t work. The magnetic polarity of the keyboard and smart connector wouldn’t allow it to properly align.
I’ve owned both… as much as I like the design of the Logitech… it drains the battery to fast.. I went from about 80 percent to 10 percent in like an 1 and a half of use.. it’s obvious that it isn’t optimized for the iPad Pro.
The combo touch takes up way more desk space. Try putting the combo touch on an airline seat table or typing with the the combo touch on your lap. Nope. I’ll stay with Apple just for the less frustration.
I’ve had the combo touch for about a week now. So far it’s been great but I have noticed the battery drains much quick on my 3rd gen iPad Pro. How does battery drain compare to the two keyboards?
oh please, dont tell me that. I have the iPad Air 4 and when it is connected to my apple pencil it drains the battery so much, that I've decided to just keep my apple pencil at home or whenever I need it, since the battery will just die so much faster.
Both magic keyboard and combo touch sap the battery, this is obviously going to be the case because they run off the ipad power through the smart connector

I did the same thing.
Weight is not similar 😂😂😂😂 MAGIC KEYBOARD IS NOTICEABLY HEAVIER LOL
@@dieselkid10 it’s actually lighter.
Appreciate you sharing your input! And thank you for the feedback about the sound test.

Still dont understand why Logitech removed the pen loop in this new edition.
So glad Logitech removed the pen loop in this new edition!
I think most people complained about it
@@AmandasRoseBud really? why? seems to me it would be a good thing. what is the disadvantage?
I prefer the logitech CT over the apple MK, not because of price but due to the functionality, CT keyboard turns the iPad into a super computer also it helps us to use the iPad in different angles which helps us to multitask with media consumption, drawing, gaming, etc.
If you are worried about style - go with the apple MK
If you think to get the most out of the iPad - stick to Logitech CT.
I’m definitely going for the combo touch when my iPad Pro arrives
Hope the video was helpful!
So glad it's being helpful!
Sold!
Typing on our lap! The reviews knock the Logitech.
Very good analysis.
If you put your ipad without a case onto a worktop to draw you sir are a monster 😂
@@hywel4767 I don't draw, and probably many iPad users don't either, so I don't know, but I use my different iPads without any case at home
(Apple seems to have addressed those connectivity issues with the smart connectors and magnets in the newer iPads.)
The deciding factor was which keyboard would work best when I held the iPad in my lap as I do much of the time.
I'm about to the same, combo touch for iPad pro 12 and magic keyboard on 11. How is the combo touch holding up? Do you recommend it still for 12.9?
I freaking love the Logitech one! Didn’t even consider the Apple one. I needed something that would protect my iPad.
I learned the hard way. Bought Apple one for the first generation iPad Pro and it fell out of my bag and now there’s 2 dents in the corner where it fell
Totally agree with you. I have both of them and the Logitech is really a good competitor
I appreciate you sharing!
I vote combo touch, $350 to much for me 😂
I totally get that. I wish it had better keys. Then, as long as you don't need to type on your lap - you'd be good.
FINALLY!!!
The review I was waiting for!!
I really like that function row in the combo touch
Hope you enjoyed it!
@@TechGearTalk I most certainly did!
for me, not having it is a deal-breaker, especially considering the price of the Magic Keyboard. i have the Logitech and i highly recommend it.
I think the biggest deciding factor between both is the footprint!
That turn around feature for the keyboard part of the Logitech touch is genius! I think that is my deciding factor. Thank you!
I want the Air 5, and I definitely want to buy the Logitech keyboard. Do they have one for it?
I wish Logitech would bring out their Combo touch for the iPad Air 4 as well.
It is their you can visit Logitech because I have iPad Air 4 and the Logitech combo touch also
Unfortunately they don't offer it - but the Folio Touch is available. I also checked with Logitech and while the Air 4 will fit in the 11" combo touch, they said the holes in the bumper won't line up.
@@TechGearTalk Do You know if they are releasing one for the iPad Air 4? Also, I love your videos and your reviews are always the best on TH-cam
@Tom Tom yeah you’re right but that one doesn’t have the magnet on the keyboard or the upgraded trackpad and it is a lot chunkier
maybe if you dont care about the fingerprint sensor you can use the 11 inch combo touch for ipad air 4
@4:32 🙏🏻 thanks for talking about this. I only use mine on my lap with a smart keyboard so can’t see how the Combo Touch would be better than the magic keyboard overall. 😃👍🏻
I am continuously impressed by your elevated level of unbiased journalism....Organized, Direct on point, Fair with accents' benefits. The format is professional. As a topic suggestion, I would enjoy your take on Android vs Apple cyber security effectiveness and measures. As creative bad actors attempt intrusion, which measures hold steadfast.
The combo touch is just too good. I don’t need to use my ipad to project to a second monitor so honestly having another port is pointless for me.
I hope the video was helpful in making the choice.
Pros:
Logitech - Protective Case
Logitech - Extra Row of keys
Logitech - Lower price
Apple - Power Port on Keyboard frees up iPad port
Apple - Can rest on your lap
Apple - Can use any and every cable or hub attached to iPad port
Apple - Better keys
Apple - Better Touchpad
Cons:
Logitech - Protective Case restricts what cables you can use due to the opening for the iPad port is very narrow.
Logitech - Protective Case eliminates the ability to use hubs that connect directly to the iPad
Logitech - Cannot use on your lap at all, simply falls over.
Logitech - Takes up more space then the footprint of the iPad
Apple - No protection
Apple - Costs a bit more
For my use it's a no brainer and the Apple Magic Keyboard wins easily.
Appreciate you sharing!
Is there any usb c adapter that fits properly? If not, I’m considering returning the combo touch and getting the Apple one! Thanks for your videos!
Could you please tell me about the durability of the magic keyboard? Im pretty worried about that,
It’s terrible. The silicon Apple uses are very easy to damage and are fingerprint magnets.
How’s the white magic keyboard holding up so fair? Curious on the staining/ dirt situation
It’s holding up ok, it gets dirty but I can clean it. I’ll do a longer term review in few weeks.
@@TechGearTalk Thanks a ton for the reply! Great to hear that it holds up well
how about the color of magic keyboard after two months? does it stay clean after all?
Before I watch this video, my opinion is the magic keyboard is better because it takes up less space and has a charging port so you have the second port available if needed.
Very good points
More adjustable than the Magic pad. Part of my reason for choosing it.
Outstanding video! What is the correct software app for the LT combo?
i initially bought the combo touch for school work with a 12.9 inch pro. but after using it just shy of a month with heavy use, i’m switching to the apple keyboard.
Will they release one for the iPad Air 4? Should I wait?
I have no info about that.
@@TechGearTalk Thanks for the reply, love your videos man! Very detailed, organized, and simple
Based on the fact I only use my lap it looks like the Magic keyboard is the choice?
Believe or not i got the magic keyboard instead on the iPad Pro because the keys are real nice, it has a nice floating design, and it has a usb-c port.

Does the Logitech Combo Touch Keyboard support third-party keyboard app?
Could you do a review on alternatives to these? Like a mouse and keyboard you would recommend instead?
Check out yesterday’s video on iPad pro accessories. Hope that helps.
Does the keyboard have to be turned on?
Anyways I’m probably going to be getting the Combo Touch in a few months should I need it for school, and can’t wait to try it out
Try Brydge keyboard maybe :)

Hi, what about ipad battery life which drains it faster??
Does the Logitech’s keyboard continue to work when not attached to the iPad?
Both of you make excellent points - it's all about workflow and needs!
These prices are crazy!
Any idea if or when it will be coming in India?
Note that the keyboard on the combo touch for the 10.2 ipad ddes not flip. The magnets repel.
Thanks for the comparing structurally, clearly, and detailedly.
The Logitech Combo Touch has only one USB-C port and the side one does not support many third party cables. No loop to stabilise the Magic Pencil is an unfortunate omission. The MK lacks a row of useful function keys. The your pick!
Hi does the keyboard makes sense for the 11” ? I guess that the distance between the keys are less than with the bigger ipad.
I love the Combo Touch but am concerned that my apple pencil will fall off. It already has.
I think a great thing about the magic keyboard is the fact that any apple accessory you buy like Apple Pencil and magic keyboard will be protected if you have apple care for iPad. Many don’t know that.

Yup, works great.
I currently own the Microsoft Surface Go. The way the Logitech keyboard attaches to the case is verry similar. Looks like I will go with the Logitech for the 11" iPad Pro I just bought to replace the Surface Go since I'm already familiar with that style of keyboard and hinge setup.

No one addresses the material quality on the Combo touch....at the start is awesome but after a year the material starts degrading fast, and the rubber gets deformed and warps.
