Very much appreciate this review. I have both the Combo Touch and the Folio Touch for older iPads. I love both of them but one thing they have in common is that stand that folds out. Something about that stand just seemed like it would wear out rather fast considering how it felt. You're the ONLY reviewer I was able to find that directly talked about it. So glad to get some information on someone that's used it for years and can report back. Thank you for that! And, for the record, both the Folio and Combo Touch cases are very good and solid. =)
Hi! im planning to buy this combo touch for my ipad air for $165 here in my country are yours still working? and do you recommend it over apple magic keyboard which is also on discount here and i can buy it for $222. Looking forward to your response it will be a huge help for me to decide, thank you so much!🙏
I have the Combo Touch for both an 11” M1 iPad Pro and 12.9” M1 iPad Pro. The case provides great protection for the back and edges of the iPad, plus it still works well with screen protectors. The keyboard is good, but sometimes it randomly disconnects. It works again if I detach and reattach the keyboard. In three years of ownership the cases have faired well. On the 12.9” case I’ve noticed the area around the speaker grill became soft and deforms slightly on both sides. Doesn’t interfere with using the iPad, just a sign the case will eventually need to be replaced.
The newer version (2022) has replaced that grill with just small holes to avoid deforming. At least mine doesnt show any sign of age after 2 years. Pretty happy with the update.
Excellent video and information! I was looking for something on the new Logitech case. I have the new 13” iPad Pro with the Magic Keyboard. It replaced my 12.9 M1 iPad Pro. I bought both the Magic Keyboard and the Logitech keyboard for the M1. I used the Logitech for awhile and loved the extra protection, but ultimately I switched back to the Magic Keyboard because you can pick up the iPad and keyboard and carry it (while it’s open) around in one hand like a laptop. You don’t have to close it to move it or use two hands. That was a bigger deal to me than I expected. If I hadn’t gotten used to using the Magic Keyboard first, I’m sure I wouldn’t have noticed. The other thing is the extra port. That’s handy not just if the iPad’s port is being used, but also if the charger to plug into is on the opposite side of the iPad. As for extra protection, MOFT makes a great snap on case for the iPad Pro. You snap the iPad into the case and it magnetically sticks on the Magic Keyboard (as does the iPad without) and it docks the Apple Pencil too (while still allowing it to charge). You can also get a magnetic stand for the case so you can have the iPad stand alone similar to the Logitech case.
On way to address your concern about dirt getting into the space around the track pad is to go into Setting> General>TrackPad and turn on “Tap to Click” then you don’t have to push down at all. I’ve had a Combo Touch on my M2 Pro since it was released and it still works flawlessly to this day. Also to address the tight fit around the USB C port you could carefully trim as needed. Great comparison review, I do love what the Magic Keyboard offers, but even though the Combo Touch is no Otterbox when it comes to protection, it’s way better than nothing.
You can also add the keyboard brightness of magic keyboard into the control center of the iPad so when u need to change it you can then just swipe from the right corner and change with a slider or put the mouse in the far right corner which will pull up the same thing.
I used the combo touch previously but really like how the fact that it's up off the desk and the keys on the Magic keyboard was, at least compared to previous models, much better. 10:50 That’s not true about not being able to change the keyboard brightness in Control Center (CC). The keyboard brightness (KB) function can easily be added to CC. Just go to CC in Settings, scroll down to More Controls, and add the KB function to Included Controls. IMO, it’s not much of an inconvenience to access KB via CC. Also, adjusting KB isn’t something one should need to do too often, I would think.
@@JerrySchulzeHey, Jerry. Thank you, for comparing the two and sharing all of the tips and tricks. Much appreciated. I’m really enjoying the new Magic Keyboard; however, I do like learning about other options.

I just wish they had that pencil holder design of the previous Logitech case. And I use the ESR pencil and screen protector - no issues (other than the magnet on the ESR pencil doesn't seem to be very strong).
This is a great comparison. I just received the air 13 combo and it does not look like the keyboard can be attached and flipped back completely without separating from the case.
I am using the Combo Touch with the iPad Pro 11" M4 and it is great and very versatile. I just need to get used to the small keyboard layout (which wouldn't be larger on the MK).
Great review, thanks. A friend of mine just got a brand-new iPad Pro 13-inch and the Magic Keyboard. She ended up returning the keyboard because the big iPad would NOT stay magnetically "stuck" to it for regular use. I tried it a few times as well... very frustrating. Will definitely check out the Logi.
Thanks for the great review and comparing the two... One concern I always have is neither of these tend to "securely" store the Pencil. Some cases (keyboard case combinations also) either don't have a pencil storage at all, or they try to use an elastic or rubber "loop" on the outside of the case that gets weak over time. Apple pushes their new Pencil Pro, so they should get on board and have their new Magic Keyboard securely (internally) store the Pencil.
Great video Jerry! I especially loved learning about the tent mode ‘hack’ , this is perfect for lap use or when you don’t want to detach the keyboard. Also, I do have the gaps as well around the edges when pressing down on the trackpad on the Logitech. I liked your tip with enabling Tap to Click in settings to prevent junk from getting in there.
Thank you for the review. I have the Combo Touch on my M1 iPad Pro 11 inch. I am considering one of these options for my new M4 iPad Pro 13 inch. In all honesty, I thought that Apple would have created a case to protect the iPad when it's not on the Magic keyboard by now. Even a bumper case like they used to make for an older model iPhone would help to keep the edges more protected if a customer opted to go that route.
Magic keyboard with protected edges will be my dream setup. I picked up the Combo Touch because I use keyboard less, and I love the stand which does’t wobble in bed!
What made you go from an 11 to 13 iPad Pro. I have a M1 Macbook Pro, but will mainly use the iPad for video editing and photo editing. So leaning toward the 13. Right now I have a 5th G 8in iPad.
I have the new 13” iPad Pro with the new Magic Keyboard, I got a UAG Urban Armor Gear 13” laptop case and It is perfect! It houses and protects the iPad and Keyboard and you can open it up and it opens the iPad automatically, it’s the most perfect combo I have ever found for iPad and the keyboard.
I got my nephew the esr rebound case and he’s very happy it more protective than the Magic Keyboard and more like the magic keyboard and I like how it hovers so you don’t need a surface
Amazing comparison - the weight and size analysis with the angles review between the two products was exactly what I was looking for. Keeping the new combo - the detach option and kick stand with the iPad protection is just worth the desk space that it takes up. Also, the kick stand is strong enough to be placed over a slim space as a stand such as a stationary bike handles or treadmill screen.
Great comparison. I prefer the smaller and more stable footprint of the Magic Keyboard. When I am in a restaurant sitting at my favorite sushi bar, the Magic Touch foot print being smaller works better than the larger footprint of the Combo Touch.
I use my iPad Pro mostly while reclining on the couch or in bed, and a lot of that time I’m drawing/painting/sketching. The Combo Touch is far and away the better solution for me for this use case. The Magic Keyboard just isn’t stable in bed for me and often I can’t get the angles right for comfortable drawing. The Combo Touch keyboard folding back under the stand to create a flat surface is actually perfect for this use case and provides a stable surface for use in bed. Feels like a happy accident but it makes the Combo Touch basically perfect. I would buy this case just for this design even if I never wanted the keyboard or trackpad. It’s slightly less convenient to type on the Combo Touch in bed, but easily doable and I’m using it to write this post with zero issues at the moment. The ability to remove the keyboard when I just want to carry the iPad around the house to watch a TH-cam video in the kitchen or dining room is pretty great, especially as an upgrade from the 2021 Combo Touch which was MUCH bulkier and didn’t have the detachable keyboard.
Your post was helpful! I’m basically going to use it the same way you’re using it. I actually just bought both the Logitech Combo and Magic Keyboard (iPad Pro 13”) to compare them. The protection was a priority for me and didn’t want to worry about damage or dropping it while carrying it around the house/using it while traveling/laying in the bed. The Magic Keyboard is very nice but the Logitech’s features/versatility for my situation is working out perfect. I even thought about keeping both, but I know after the “newness” wore off, I’d be using the Logitech. I’m most likely returning the Magic Keyboard this week.
Great comparison. I have only praise for the Logitech Combo Touch I’ve been using with my 2018 12.9 Pro for the past 6 years, and will opt for the Logitech again when I upgrade to the 13” M4 Pro later this year.
Combo Touch Advantages: 1. Provides complete protection for the iPad with a casing that covers its sides. 2. Flexible usage, can be separated from the keyboard for various usage modes like tablet or tent mode. 3. Adjustable kickstand for different viewing angles. 4. Lighter weight compared to the Magic Keyboard. 5. Larger trackpad provides more space for gestures and movements. 6. More affordable price compared to the Magic Keyboard. Combo Touch Disadvantages: 1. Takes up more space on the desk compared to the Magic Keyboard. 2. Stability when used on the lap is less optimal, especially if there is a slope on the thighs. = Magic Keyboard Advantages: 1. Sturdy design with aluminum construction provides a premium feel. 2. Provides a laptop-like user experience with good lappability. 3. Adjustable to various viewing angles, including a low angle for watching videos in bed. 4. Passthrough charging through the hinge allows for charging while connected to additional devices. 5. Trackpad offers more responsive clicking experience. Magic Keyboard Disadvantages: 1. Lack of side protection for the iPad, making it vulnerable to impacts or scratches. 2. Heavier compared to the Combo Touch. 3. Higher price point. 4. Does not offer the same flexibility in usage as a protective casing.
For me, the biggest issue with the Combo Touch is by far the rubber. It’s even worse than the previous rubber (ipad with a cloth texture). My rubber is completely loose at the bottom, near the keyboard. It looks really bad after only 3~4 months.
@@jordancalandre9474 is that the old 2023 style or this 2024 unit? One other question if I may… I have the iPad Pro 1000GB, 16 gigabytes unit. I really hold onto technology for quite a while before I replace it and it just seems like the new AI stuff is going to need more ram function well in the future. Thing is finances are a bit strained right now so I was thinking about returning it but that would leave me with 8 gigabytes of RAM. What do you gentlemen think? Do you think 8 GB is enough to do any program and final cut or AI image rendering or whatever? Had wanted to get a MacBook too but just too much money even if I return this completely. Thanks in advance if you can give me some advice only so many videos you can watch. Have a good evening
@@TH-camRanch The new Ipad that have the M4 chip will not use much ram because the new chip have extra cores dedicated only for AI( 16 Neural engine cores ), and the chip itself have also 40 GPU cores compare to the M2 which have only 8 GPU cores, it also have 4.4 ghz compare to 3.49 i recommend getting the new one basically

And just pick up a door buster TV for 200 bucks this black Friday. Seems like the cheaper way to do it. I just wish Apple stuff wasn’t so confusing desktop computers are much simpler
Excellent video and info. I have one on my 13” M4. One glaring disappointment is the lack of a “cage” for the Apple Pencil. While carrying the combo, or putting it in a bag, the Pencil likes to dislodge. Otherwise, this is another example of Logitech’s great design. Pricey but worth it. Thanks.
I think your video looks rather dim. Perhaps that's the wrong word, but not very saturated at least. That's not to say that the picture is not excellent but that's just my first hand impression. If that's a conscious choice i can respect that. It's probably more true to life.
Hey Jerry, I appreciate you taking the time to review these two boards. They all seem pretty similar to me in terms of what I'm looking for. But which one is better for traveling? For instance, if I'm planning on using it on my lap to catch up with some friends or family while I am out or type some emails, etc., would you recommend either of them? And keep making great videos, they're really appreciated.
I got both the Apple Magic Keyboard and the Combo Touch for the iPad M4 13”. Previously I’ve owned the Logitech keyboard cases but thought I’d try the Apple case for comparison. What I miss with this Logitech case compared to my last Slim Folio Pro is that it does not have a back flap that contains a slot to hold the pencil, a flap that folds over and attaches by magnet to the front when you close it. So I was able to easily bring my pencil with me, it sat safely inside the pouch in the flap where it was less likely to get lost vs if it was only sitting on the magnet on the top. With this new Combo Touch I would have to carry the pencil around with me which is less convenient. But the Apple Magic Keyboard has nowhere to store the pencil either. I like typing on both keyboards, think the Apple Magic Keyboard is a bit better. I find the Combo Touch’s cursor moves sometimes away from where I am typing to a random spot in a paragraph above. And issues with it deleting some text as I type it. Still have not figured out why that is happening and neither has Logitech. Looking like I have a defective Combo Touch and will have to exchange it. I found the Apple Magic Keyboard to be very top heavy. When sitting on anything but a hard surface it falls backwards if the screen is at an angle. Though do like its viewing angles. But Combo Touch’s viewing angle are fine too. In the end, the #1 reason I chose the Combo Touch is its hinge allows me to fold the keyboard not only forward to cover the screen but also back, so I can view the screen when not using the keyboard AND my iPad is still protected on the sides and back. I take my iPad everywhere, shopping, the gym, when traveling, etc so this is important. The Apple Magic Keyboard is good if you are mostly using it when at home but not if you are on the go. And adding ~25% to the Combo Touch’s price to buy the Apple Magic Keyboard makes it $$$. I asked the Apple people why their Magic Keyboard case does not have sides to hold and protect it… and was told it was not necessary since they have Apple Care. Yeah maybe but that is a paid service. Hmmm. Recurring revenue or designed-in obsolescence …
I am trying to figure something out, when you have it connected, it wastes your ipad battery right? what if you Use it where the keyboard is folded like in this video, does the battery still get taken up?
Hi JM My situation is identical. The bottom line is that I prefer the Mogi keyboards after all especially when comparing the price. I cannot see why the Apple KB is SO expensive.

Yeah, the confusion’s there because you have to add it to Control Center once manually, I guess. But honestly, even though I put it there four years ago when I first got my original Magic Keyboard, I’ve never actually used it because it just uses the ambient light sensor to set to a good amount of backlighting and I haven’t ever felt the need to turn it up or down on my own.
I had “Combo Touch” on my previous iPad Pro. Unfortunately, the edges, where the cutouts for the volume buttons and speakers located, starts to warp (looking like a noodle) because they are too thin and has no rigidity.
I love my Combo Touch. I think much depends if you are an Artist or Productivity user. I like your stand / case analagy. I like the Logi iPad protection. I like the brightness of the keyboard backlight. I like being able to detach the keyboard and fold it around the back. The only scenario I see MAGIC making sense as a laptop replacement only but it offers no protection or drawing eReader experience. Logi everytime for me. Sure it doesn't work on your lap but I never use on my lap always on a tray or desk.
People have stated they can charge at 15 volts and 2.6 amps, so just under 40 watts, both with the iPad Pro's Thunderbolt port or via USB-C pass-through on the keyboard.
I bought the combo touch from Apple and am returning it. It’s actually not great unless you’re on a flat surface sit down on the couch and try to type with it. It’s bloody impossible.
It’s a bummer that Logitech changed the material. Might be a deal breaker for me. The material on the previous Combo Touch cases were extremely robust and felt great.
I just got it on eBay open box item for $90. The case was tight. i used a hair dryer gently and soften the rubber. it slipped pretty easy. The Logitech combo case protect the iPad and keyboard is on par the Apple case also you save a lot money.
Hello Jerry! I have the Logitech Combo Touch, but I have a problem with the symbols, the global key does not work with the symbols. Have you experienced this situation?
Very nice review. I have had a combo touch keyboard on my 2021 12.9 inch iPad Pro since I bought it new. Zero problems or complaints except am I the only one who misses having a caps lock indicator on the screen? I will be purchasing the new model for my wife’s M4 iPad Pro. Thanks again.
Being able to detach the keyboard and use it with a case is a huge deciding factor for me. Combo Touch is a lot more versatile it's not even close. But I'm really curious about the haptic feedback on the Magic Keyboard
I tried the smaller Combo Touch and the stand didn't extend that far (1:48) for a good drawing surface. Maybe I was being too gentle with it, it was an older model, the smaller model doesn't have that option, etc. Awesome video, thanks for going in depth on these two cases, like footprint size.
Good comparison, but I'm surprised that there was no mention of the warping rubber on the old Combo Touch around the speaker grills and corners. This was a common complaint on older versions and not sure if the new versions of the case will do the same thing.
I just purchased the logi, I watch this video after I got my keyboard. I purchased this keyboard because the price. And seam better, apple always want to overcharge for the extra stuff. Thanks for the video help a lot the explanation is great 👍
Love the review so thank you! A small remark in this “user friendly” world regarding the port size on the side - if some cables don’t fit, just take a mild file to it and that will solve the problem… It won’t really show and that will make the difference between a keyboard case that actually protects your iPad while allowing to use it with or without keyboard, at any angle you want, at a much lower price, compared to a single-use overpriced accessory mostly justified by “you know how much I paid for it”…
I presently use the Logitech and had to replace it twice for issues with the keys but Logitech did it free of charge. Updates for the keypad are not straightforward either..🤷🏻♂
Great video, thanks for sharing. I read that Logitech combo touch doesn’t support nano-texture screen. So I am stuck with the expensive Apple Magic Keyboard.
Enjoyed your review. Am I correct that the Magic Keyboard won’t go flat to use on a piano or music stand? Last gen didn’t. I have the new iPad with Logi Combo Touch and early results are pretty good. I needed something that I could lay flat to perform and it serves that purpose quite well. It’s a little heavier than my basic iPad case from apple and I paint with procreate while waiting for appointments. Logi is a bit cumbersome and heavy for that purpose but serves me well when I paint on a desk or table.
I have the Logitech with the 11 inch iPad Pro. Two issues: I take a lot of screenshots and when I use it without the keyboard (which has a shortcut), holding the necessary buttons in the top right hand corner (when held vertically) is really tricky. Also, the rubber around the speakers and at the bottom of the screen keeps growing.
No doubt i dont like the Magic Keyboard because of its inflexibility but you can actually include the Magic Keyboard lighting button in the control center at the top right of your iPad screen. Not sure why you mentioned you can’t do that?
@@JerrySchulze Yup I loved that you covered that in your review, just worried about that exposed part with the pencil slot and I'm not planning on buying the pencil. Please let us know if you do test it with a skin 🙃
Jerry, I must of missed it, but did you go over if the Logitech has a more sturdy Apple Pencil holder, because it’s a full case the Apple Pencil is not compatible?
I love my Logitech combo touch in my iPad Pro 11. Almost perfect, but I wished there was a small ledge on the side (like my DTTO case for iPad mini 6) so I can grab the iPad with it. There's just no way to grab/hold it with except smearing the lens with fingers. Hopefully next iteration.
I think the MKB would be perfect for airline travel. Not so sure about the Combo Touch considering the foot print. I acquired the 11” with the MKB and have enjoyed the experience. Nice upgrade from version 1.
Did Logitech fix the rubber like frame from distorting/stretching if you just remove the iPad from the case a few times. I got a warranty replacement for my M1 iPad Pro, The replacement soon started warping/stretching after just a couple of removals of the iPad from the case. Otherwise I loved the large trackpad and function row keys. But of course the new Apple Magic Keyboard has a larger trackpad and a function key row. What you say about the MK fingerprints is quite true. I put a skin on my old M1 iPad, and will do so on my M4.
HI, great video. Re the Logitech keyboard will USB hubs that fit directly to the usb port actually fit? Your comment about some cables not fitting has concerned me. Thanks
I wish they would offer the new material for older iPad Pros. Sad that new accessories aren’t working with iPads that were selling for over a grand just less than a month ago. I would buy the new material keyboard in a heartbeat.
Thanks for the great review. After watching it I headed over to Apple to purchase the Combo Touch for my iPad Pro 13” M4 with Nano-texture glass. However, saw the following in the product information description: “This Combo Touch Keyboard Case is not designed for use with iPad Pro 13-inch (M4) with nano-texture glass.” Any idea why?

I used combo touch years and years ago.
The biggest issue they have has always been the weight .. the difference is crazy
I've always preferred the cases the protect the back and edges, so in this comparison I would opt for the Combo Touch.
Awesome review. This is just the video I was looking for, amazing
Great comparison. I prefer the smaller and more stable footprint of the Magic Keyboard. When I am in a restaurant sitting at my favorite sushi bar, the Magic Touch foot print being smaller works better than the larger footprint of the Combo Touch.
The combo case works fine with the nano texture glass as I am doing so to watch this video. Nice content
Combo Touch Advantages:
Combo Touch Disadvantages:
1. Takes up more space on the desk compared to the Magic Keyboard.
2. Stability when used on the lap is less optimal, especially if there is a slope on the thighs.
=
Magic Keyboard Advantages:
Magic Keyboard Disadvantages:
1. Lack of side protection for the iPad, making it vulnerable to impacts or scratches.
2. Heavier compared to the Combo Touch.
3. Higher price point.
4. Does not offer the same flexibility in usage as a protective casing.
So which one do you like?
@@TH-camRanch The new Ipad that have the M4 chip will not use much ram because the new chip have extra cores dedicated only for AI( 16 Neural engine cores ), and the chip itself have also 40 GPU cores compare to the M2 which have only 8 GPU cores, it also have 4.4 ghz compare to 3.49
i recommend getting the new one basically
@@OneTomato talked to Apple yesterday and I think I’m gonna get rid of the one terabyte and drop down to the 512 GB I hate let go of that 16 gig a bite of ram but I need something of a desktop too the MacBook are too expensive for me so I’m gonna get that little new computer for 599 it’ll let me do real computer stuff which is too hard to do on an iPad.
I noticed that too
It’s a lack of contrast
He forgot to add back the color grading node so he is stuck with this lut
Exactly
Great review. The room is dark I thought something was wrong with my tv's brightness. I appreciate the quality review!
I like the Magic Keyboard better for lap and most situation because I use it like a laptop.
@@JerrySchulze thanks!
You can add the backlit keyboard brightness in the control center. Works similar to the screen brightness slider once added…
Excellent details - like them both but leaning toward Logitech combo for the standalone protection.
Just got the logi combo touch for $50 at target after some coupons and discounts, definitely worth it for the price
so i could connect my monitor to the ipad as well right?
You can, yes.
nice detailed video
answers most ( if not all ) the questions one may have about these products
well done 😉
Glad it was helpful!
love the video man. great comparison. i’ve loved the logitech over apple for a long time now. use it for my m4 11 inch ipad
Hi! im planning to buy this combo touch for my ipad air for $165 here in my country are yours still working? and do you recommend it over apple magic keyboard which is also on discount here and i can buy it for $222. Looking forward to your response it will be a huge help for me to decide, thank you so much!🙏
I’m really sad that Logitech is not producing the Slim Folio Pro anymore!
Excellent information.
Looking for a more laptop type experience, I pulled the trigger on the Magic Keyboard for my iPad M4 Pro 11".
Good choice!
@JerrySchulze thanks to you 🙏🔆
How about the ESR keyboard?
You can adjust the brightness of the keyboard backlighting in control center…if you add it to control center, then just press and hold on the tile.
@@Aiii83 it’s true, it was always a complaint by folks that you couldn’t adjust it on the Magic Keyboard but I’ve never needed to adjust it either.
I had “Combo Touch” on my previous iPad Pro. Unfortunately, the edges, where the cutouts for the volume buttons and speakers located, starts to warp (looking like a noodle) because they are too thin and has no rigidity.
Very good review. I need the case protection of the Combo Touch but I hope the footprint won’t be an issue.
Great video!!!! Do you have to charge the Logitech keyboard separately?
You answered the questoin at the end. Thanks.
Excellent and thorough review. Thanks!
Pure gold, very useful, thank you for the review!
I enjoyed this review! Thank you very much!
The Logitech combo case protect the iPad and keyboard is on par the Apple case also you save a lot money.
about clicking on the logitech trackpad.... you can set in the settings that it registers a click when only touching the trackpad I remember?
Excellent Review!!
Great Video! I wonder if the logitech trsckpad disconnects every so often? Some people have had this experience.
Hello Jerry! I have the Logitech Combo Touch, but I have a problem with the symbols, the global key does not work with the symbols. Have you experienced this situation?
Thank you for this video. It was very informative.
10:49 You can now add key brightness control in control center on iPadOS 18, so yay
Wow that was a very good comparision! Thanks
Thanks for watching!
Good comparison, but I'm surprised that there was no mention of the warping rubber on the old Combo Touch around the speaker grills and corners. This was a common complaint on older versions and not sure if the new versions of the case will do the same thing.
Awesome one. Combo touch gives you the bests: cheaper, better experience and protective
Brightnes of backlight can be changed in the control center if you add the setting
Thank you for this lovely review. I was eyeing both. This was very informative :)
I just purchased the logi, I watch this video after I got my keyboard. I purchased this keyboard because the price. And seam better, apple always want to overcharge for the extra stuff. Thanks for the video help a lot the explanation is great 👍
Love the review so thank you! A small remark in this “user friendly” world regarding the port size on the side - if some cables don’t fit, just take a mild file to it and that will solve the problem… It won’t really show and that will make the difference between a keyboard case that actually protects your iPad while allowing to use it with or without keyboard, at any angle you want, at a much lower price, compared to a single-use overpriced accessory mostly justified by “you know how much I paid for it”…
What brand of protector for the Ipad (13) would you recommmend using with the Magic keyboard?? Great review by the way!👍🏻
I presently use the Logitech and had to replace it twice for issues with the keys but Logitech did it free of charge.
Yep that is correct. Seems the logi is best for you. Thanks for watching.
Great video! What screen protector are you using or recommend??
You can actually change the backlit keyboard on the magic keyboard in control center.
Yes, was my mistake.
A very good Review, thank you
Thanks for watching!
Great review and comparison to Magic Keyboard!
No doubt i dont like the Magic Keyboard because of its inflexibility but you can actually include the Magic Keyboard lighting button in the control center at the top right of your iPad screen. Not sure why you mentioned you can’t do that?
Can you fit a skin and a tempered glass screen protector with the cases?
I don't use skins but tempered glass works fine
@@JerrySchulze Yup I loved that you covered that in your review, just worried about that exposed part with the pencil slot and I'm not planning on buying the pencil. Please let us know if you do test it with a skin 🙃
I like the kick stand on the combo touch, but I wouldn’t get another one after my current one has had issues with the silicone degrading.
you can adjust the backlight of the magic keyboard from the control centre
YOU REVIEWED THIS SO PERFECTLY. Sorry for the all caps. It's that serious. Thanks!
This was very helpful. Thank you!
Awesome content. Could you also review the esr rebound 360 keyboard case. That is another banger.
What about long term use logitech combo touch? Will the rubber stretch like the previous version?
Hoping more colors are offered with the combo touch.
I wouldn’t bet on it.
@@JerrySchulzeat most they’d make a light grey. Don’t think we’ll see Air colors like pink.
Great video , this kind of content needs to be pushed more by TH-cam
Jerry, I must of missed it, but did you go over if the Logitech has a more sturdy Apple Pencil holder, because it’s a full case the Apple Pencil is not compatible?
The case does not cover were the Apple Pencil magnetically attached to the iPad.
I have heard reports of the keys on the logitech failing - usually the spacebar. Anyone else have experience with this?
My wife had the E key fall off on an older version.
Perfect review with no BS. Thanks
I think the MKB would be perfect for airline travel. Not so sure about the Combo Touch considering the foot print. I acquired the 11” with the MKB and have enjoyed the experience. Nice upgrade from version 1.
Congrats on haveing 70.9K subscribers.
Thanks Matt
I think for either one of these using a "lap desk" would make lap work much easier.
Yep, I talk about this in the video during the questions segment.
Sorry, I missed it. Thanks so much.
