Part 4 of our red dot pistol series with Modern Samurai Project (Scott Jedlinski). In this part Scott focuses on how to acquire the red dot on the draw. How to acquire the red dot is one of the most common questions shooters have when learning how to shoot pistol red dot. Check out the class schedule for Modern Samurai Project, they've got a ton of class scheduled.
What is the 1911 Syndicate? We do a few things. We started out as a real estate company primarily targeted at serving the military/LE/shooting/hunting communities. Thank you 1911 Syndicate for this series with Scott. I was at this class and it's super-useful to have this refresh the huge dumps of knowledge Scott dropped over two days. Great camera work & production, it's like being there again. And of course biggest thanks to Scott for being such a master instructor.

I never thought I would ever shoot with an optic on a handgun. Ever. Until now. 58 years old and the old eyes are starting to give up the ghost. Been going bad for a while now and the irons have been just a bit blurry. My last trip to the range proved they are even more blurred to the point that it’s showing on where I’m hitting on the target. I used to be able to get a 4 inch group at 25 yards with my irons. Now I’m lucky if I’m getting them on the target at all. Just ordered a Holosun SCS for my Walther PDP and I’ve been watching LOTS of Scott’s videos. Can’t wait to get my optic and practice.

I just want to say the biggest thanks for sharing this video I love watching him train people. I went out tonight in the dark with a gun light so it was fresh in my mind and performed better than I ever have at 5 yards and I mean every bullet went in the center without even trying which has been my problem, thinking to hard. I watched this video over twenty times before I live fired. 100 percent improvement. Thanks big time and if i could afford the long trip from middle of nowhere North Dakota to his training i would. The cost of boarding three dogs and ammunition plus travel there will never be a chance I can afford it so I love your videos and will check your home page to see if you sell gun goodies. Thanks

So I've got myself a p320 x compact. He says that the beaver tail is the limiting factor for bore axis and that the support hand doesn't have those issues. But he is also driving his index into the bottom of the trigger guard. Is the trigger guard now the limiting factor? Either way I've been trying "the wave" as best as I can and feel like there is some improvement in my recoil management.
