    A quick update on my journey.
    Earlier when I started this 30 min workout I was burning around 300 calories measured on my Mi band 3.And now I burn around 400-450 calories. This has surely made me loose weight in these few months. Thank you guys for this.

    Thank you for your positivity getting me through my 30 mins every day! I have quit alcohol recently and been doing 30 mins jump rope for 30 days I’m at day 20 today my face always red after jump rope and that’s how I know I’ve done it properly. I want to continue this as my usual exercise after challenge. I would miss it! You are very inspiring :)

    I’ve been watching you guys for almost a year. The past 11 months I’ve mainly been just doing 20 min workouts, but today I decided to finally do this 30 min workout and challenge myself, I completed it and got through it! I love doing skip rope and will continue to push myself.. thanks lads 🙌🏽

    Yo man, this is literally the best workout that i've ever done in my life. Just jump rope for 30 mins a day can burn around 400 calories? That's unbelievable

      How much weight did you lose? You must've done great over this 6 months period, just trying to get a raw idea of how much I want to weight after a few months.

      @@anshul_._ when I started I weighed 165 and now I am 152, so I've lost 13 pounds so far. The first month I only lost 3 pounds but then I began eating in moderation and I stopped eating so much junk food and the weight began to come off a lot quicker. I lost the 13 pounds by the mid April and now I'm just trying to maintain the weight I am at right now.

    Started my jump rope journey 2 weeks ago and already feeling great! The only problem is after 10 sessions I have shin splints! Hope my body will get used to it soon.

    Holy bananas. You are crazy strong to keep with the 1lb rope. I got thru half the first round and went down to 1/2lb. Then half the second round with 1/2 and dropped to 1/4. Then third round stayed with the 1/2 lb. I did maintain good speed and varied the footwork. 200 cals warm up. 438 cals workout. Wouldn’t have made it by myself so really appreciated the jump along. Respect!

    After giving birth to my daughter & having a major surgery after I gained so much weight. I’m at my highest weight ever, & have been feeling so bad. I started working out but was running & really wasn’t seeing any difference. I then started jumping & came across you & been trying on & off I started the 10 min beginner & on my 4 day I noticed I could jump through, I’ve now started this one & let’s just say it was a challenge with lots of sweat but felt good after doing. Thanks for ALL you videos jumping to me is definitely better than running any day. Now I need to lose the sugar & I’ll be good to go!

    I can't praise these guys enough. I started jump rope April 2020 when Yoga class shut down due to lockdown. As exercise was always my thing, I was desperate to find something to replace my 3 times a week hot yoga classes and I found this!! I did my research, bought RX Smart Gear ropes (I'd like to try crossrope at one point) and started every day. Damn, it did make me lose weight quickly. Not only the session is good but these guys are inspiring and motivating. This is now my everyday exercise and is very manageable even at busy times. So thank you guys, I am enjoying this!!!

    Yo! Is anyone still here? Haha! So, I started working out following this video everyday from the past 2 weeks and today I finally managed to 100% keep up! I have a habit of counting my skips to sort of turn it into a game, like "40 skips in 30 second whoo!" and today I managed to do 1,555 skips! I remember when I started, just 200 killed my legs, so this is quite the progress! I've started feeling energised, lost 3 pounds, and feel happier in general. Thanks guys! #dothething

      @@surbhiyadav4461 I don't think it's necessary, it's more about the intensity you bring and all these different exercises help with that. It's also fun to have the variety. Pretty sure this channel has tutorials on these exercises if you wanna learn them.

    Out of 30 Minutes, 21 Minutes is the Actual Jumping Period. 7 minutes of rest (10 second rest) and 3 minutes of rest between Rounds. 21 Minutes looks less but feels like an hour of jumping 🔥.

    Day7: couldnt count
    Day8: Couldnt count but it has gotten mch easier now!
    Day9: Done! Btw i wont be counting calories anymore:(
    Day10: rest day- did only one set
    Day11: completed
    Day12: done, my calves are hurting from 3 days now tho
    Day13: done
    Day14: rest day
    Day15-19: done
    Day20: rest day
    Day21: done
    Day22: rest day
    Day23: done, i did 5 mins more
    Day24-25: done
    Day26-29: missed but did other workouts
    Day30: done!!
    I completed the 30 days 30 mins challenge!!
    As for the results, i hv not lost any weight but I can see a small tiny change in my body, not just physically but also mentally

    Been doing this workout for a week now and got the Mi Band 5 to track myself. It has a jump rope function which is pretty sick; hitting around 400 calories and 2800 jumps. Dope workout!

    I'm still even shaking a bit, as I've just concluded lol
    But! I was gassing out about halfway through set 1, about to quit or switch the workout, when I saw I was already 8 mins in (as it turns out, that was only 3 and a half minutes of actual exercise lol), so I decided to just truck through it and distract myself with numbers. 1-2-3-4-ONE-1-2-3-4-TWO-(etc.) and was starting to average 6 rounds of 5. Set 1 ends so I towel off and go grab water, but midroll ads made it to where when I returned, I had 10 seconds left of rest, so heck it! let's see when I drop! I came back WAY stronger, still averaging 6 of 5, but slamming the rope around the whole time. Fighting through exhaustion, even skipping back so I could Full-Combo the 30 sec chunk, all the while Brandon was egging me on (Thanks!), finally made it to final 2 where I did 1 at 6 of 5, and the final at 7 of 5!! At this point, I was SUPER pumped - so I blasted music as I paced myself through the third set! it was all I had just to stay upright, I began tripping more often, but I wasn't quitting now! I gave myself 5 extra seconds of rest towards the end, just so I could get more actual skips in - I was getting 5 of 6 at MINIMUM, at this point. Wasn't stopping until I hit that number. The time finally comes for the final set, I psyche myself up for it, and prepared myself to give it 110% - as a result, I just kept on going, even after the bell went off and the "Good Job" 's were said, telling myself "Not yet!" as I far surpassed 6, 7, even 8! In the end, I was able to get 50 WHOLE SKIPS IN, before finally stepping on the rope, and calling it a day!
    I just simply can't believe it though - and this is the part that makes me even happier than the fact I completed the workout - that was (~125 from first 3 mins) + (31 x 6 x 5 from the rest of it) + (35 from final go of the second set) + (50 from *the* final go of the third set), which = about 1110 Skips!!!!!! *_I could never do 1k skips b4!!!_* It's such an amazing feeling, to go from barely breeching 700 to somewhat clearing 11hundred!! And without even realizing it!!
    It's a bit of a wall of text, yea - but I was just so excited! Thanks again, JRD! And shouldn't nobody take for granted how important it is to _literally just do the thing._ 😁😁😁

      first 10 is easier now, though my grip strength is lacking lolol
      second 10 was rough - overconfident, didn't pace myself, burned it up
      third 10

    Hey jump rope dudes I am having some trouble with the calf muscles hurting atm. Should I take 1or2 days to recover from jump rope & do other exercises without jump rope in the mean time?

      let that body recover! get some stretches in and then ease back in (read: shorter, less intense sessions).
